Just curious, if the Rambar protrudes above the roof, is it felt when driving on the highway? is there any noise at speed or deterioration in aerodynamics?
I would say if you install aftermarket wheels lug nut length may will different then OEM. I have installed one, and length stay shorter. I suggest measure it with new wheels first, then order new nuts.
Maybe you tried program used, already programmed in another truck fob? They say it must be new, clean key fob, or it must be cleaned before by professional locksmith.

If it got oil change already you don’t need change it again, of course. Then best you can do is go nearest dealer and let them hear the noise, maybe it’s tipical sound of HEMI.
I would suggest change oil first, if you just bought the used truck, then see is ticking noise gone or not. Also feel oil burning smell inside the cab sometimes, don’t know why this issue appears.
This could be due to factory engine and transmission settings. After installing the Pulsar tuner, which allows me to change the settings, my truck became much more cheerful.
My grille was broken, and i bought used one on eBay and replaced it. They both has black inserts. But inserts has no part numbers, just checked it. So you need buy grille assembly, if you want black inserts.
Yes, it’s replaceable parts, but you must take off all grille to replace it. Don’t know the part number, try find it tomorrow, i have the black one from broken grille.
I have replaced certain and steering wheel Airbags by myself, it’s not difficult, also bought passenger dash Airbag, but to replace it you need full disassemble the dashboard. Airbags not compatible with previous model years.
Sorry, it’s for 5th gen, not for Classic.
Buckev: In short, if a truck is needed for the transportation of goods, then it is better to take a Toyota, if for the transportation of passengers then Ram. Toyota is more reliable, because everything is simple there and there are leaf springs, but the Ram are much more comfortable.
Thank you very much! I almost ready start this mod, but after swap what exactly procedure will needed with AlfaOBD? Must i install new software or just change some settings? Asked this because i’m in Russia, here is no Ram dealers and nobody can help me, if i broke my truck :)
One more question about swap, if i have now 8.4” without nav, and want install 12.1” screen, i need also amplifier for audio? Basic radio has 6 speakers without amplifier, but sure all 12.1 made for premium sound system...
Also if I don’t need nav must i have LVDS cable, and what about GPS antenna?
