Siramic down here almost always has a new car/truck special of $600 for a 1-2 year coating and about $1200 for a 3 year. Goes up over $2k for lifetime but the 3 and lifetime include a 2 stage paint correction in the price.
Way late on a reply here, but I can vouch for the Chevy Active Exhaust Systems. The difference between the tour/stealth modes and track modes is awesome. Second to that you can install a cheap switch that is programmed to your homelink system that will leave the valves open all the time! Would...
I have used ceramic pro on my previous Black Camaro which was an amazing coating. Shop I used was able to do claybar, stage 1 correction which was plenty especially considering the car was a year old by the time I took it to have one applied. As for the Ram...the dealer built in a "ceramic"...
Asiancarfooddude has in cab driving with muffler delete. I'm not sure whether it is just due to the speakers in my truck or if he is picking up something other than drone, but it sounds like it drones terribly. Of course, videos/sound clips don't do much for exhaust. Another problem that most in...
Where in Houston are you located? I'd love to hear the muffler delete in person. Right now I am looking into a custom exhaust from BA Muffler. Would be either a 16" or 12" muffler with a Helmholtz resonator added for keeping drone down. I would guess that the muffler delete has quite a bit of...
Wouldn't this be a ton of work/impossible? Or does the Rebel have the option for coil suspension rather than air? Sorry probably a pointless post and my ignorance of the Rebel platform.
Thanks, that's what I figured, but seems it could be done to have the full 2.5" up front with no codes and only need to lift the rear approx .75-1 inch using links? Seems most are seeing about a 3/4" rake. I wonder whether any settings would be effected from going 2.25" and then no need to bring...
Keep in mind that the Rebel in the showroom may have been set to Offroad Level 2 on the suspension setting compared to the Limited which could have been set at Normal or lower possibly. I haven't had a chance to compare my limited side-by-side with a Rebel so I am really not sure on the...
I would bet that the ORP will be coming as an option for the BOE. If not, it seems there are a lot having success with the Daystar/Links. Of course that means you have modified the vehicle...seems that is not something you are wanting to do and to keep 100% OEM. Would be nice if Mopar would make...
Question for everyone with the Daystar kit and leveling links. It seem most are only going up 1.5" in the front...on a 2.5" leveling kit. Is there a reason to not go the full 2.5" using the leveling links?
I would like to do this on my Limited, but am not understanding why it wouldn't lift the...
If you were wanting the "look" of the Rebel...kind of. You could always look into the ORP mentioned above on a Limited Black Out Edition. The BOE does not have all the chromes pieces, doesn't have the Rebel grill or bumpers, nor the wheels...BUT it does come with the sport hood already. Only...
May move out of classifieds section.
Also, I know the Xpel films are very popular with the sports car enthusiasts. I have never had a film myself so I can't comment on the quality. I actually wish I had added a film...or that Ram would put a film on the front of these trucks from the...
$50k isn't bad for a Limited. I personally would not have bought a truck with the Frost/Indigo Interior, but that is a matter of personal preference. I like the 22" Wheels, but of course this adds to the cost of tires...which it doesn't sound like you'll need very often. I most definitely wish...
Looks like the Baja kit is out and ranges from $ 675 - $ 975 for either the S8 or ONX6 kits. Comes with 20" bar, brackets and wiring harness. Just the bar ranges from $ 579 - $ 770.
PM a pick if you have a chance. I know Keith with BA Muffler said he used a similar approach. He said the Tundra exhaust note is pretty horrendous...especially when straight piped, but he was able to tune out all drone with the Hemholtz. I want to say he was somewhere around 26 inches for his...
From what my installer said the sunroof is a single pane style of glass which is not the same as the extremely thick windshield and side glass...this may be incorrect and I would love to know if it is in fact incorrect. I would be there this weekend to tint the pano if that was the case as I...
Yes, there are huge differences between the two when it comes to heat rejection. The ceramic films reject up to 90% (may be a little higher or lower depending on film) of heat. I believe that carbon films only reject about 20-30%. It is definitely a huge difference and something I will spend the...
I have SunTek on my Ram Limited. Much more cost effective tint that 3M in my opinion and does a good job of rejecting heat.
One thing I did not do was tint the Panoroof. Installer said it was possible the heat rejection from the tint could cause the sunroof to crack or shatter...not sure...
Thanks for the reply. I have checked out the Carven exhaust, but see a lot say there is a ton of drone. I drive 60 miles round trip a day for work and about the same on most weekends around town. I do not want drone, but want a system that sounds good.
I have another thread that I am trying to...
