I also went Falkens. After doing my research, for the driving conditions I'm in 70-75% of the time the Falkens win by a decent margin. All preference at the end of the day I guess. Don't have them mounted yet and opted for a guaranteed fit with 275/70R18's but already thinking I'll go 285/75 for...
It's pretty cool seeing what mods everyone chooses to do and in what order. From practical to aesthetics to safety to convenience and comfort. For any newbies to the RAM world this is a great thread to get some info on what mods seem to be popular amongst other owners and the typical/avg costs...
Manual says 89 for the Hemi but a lot of folks run 87 no problem. Mine did not like it. Congrats on your truck. A Night Edition Laramie is a slick ride. Welcome to the forum. Share pics when you get a chance.
Decals were an option I looked into when I was shopping for wheels. I like the Rebel design for a winter swap and wasn't able to find an all black set for sale (and didn't want to pay dealership prices). Luckily I found a set, but for those wanting blacked out wheels the ART Replica 167's are...
Personally love mine. I'm not sure I can ever go back to just a standard tailgate. I've used the barn doors way more often than the traditional drop. Can't speak to the winter months you mention as this is my first winter with it but I can't imagine it being any different than a regular tailgate.
I haven't installed my 33's yet but I have stock suspension and from my research on here they should be fine. ORG adds a 1" Lift so my assumption is you can go 34's. I will be adding a 2" level probably around the same time I swap out the wheels so that makes a difference but as far as 33's go I...
The ORG does add a 1" Lift. Personally I would've loved to get the ORG. Pretty awesome bang for buck IMO. My vote is to get it, but if it prevents you from parking in your garage then maybe not?
I was literally just thinking about this the other day. Inspired by your breakdown I figured I'd put together mine. All costs in CAD rounded to the nearest $ with tax + shipping (where applicable) included. For owning the truck less than 5 months that's more than I expected (thought) I'd spend...
Welcome to the forum. I haven't seen any CC+6'4 RAM's now that I think about it. Certainly not an option here in Canada as far as I'm aware. Post some pics in the "members trucks" thread. As for your wallet, might as well light it on fire now if you want to stop yourself from spending :ROFLMAO...
Correct on the bolt pattern. I'm not quite sure about other manufacturers but they are 6 bolt, RAM was late to that party. The prices for wheels in Canada are ridiculous. Depending on which end of the country you are, Grizzly Trucks (Alberta) and WheelWiz (Quebec) have consistently been the...
Anyone hear of a Black Friday sale for these? I've spent my budget on new wheels and tires. Hoping to save a bit on one of these throttle controllers. The Pedal Commander has a $60 off sale right now but when your starting price is $400 that's not a hell of a lot.
I literally asked the same question not too long ago. They are there for a reason, that is true. Condensation builds up and that's just a precaution to help it escape the pipes. The research I've done tells me that these engines run hot enough that by the time you park most of what's in there...
If corona would settle tf down I'll find myself down there next year some time hopefully. Nearly moved to Austin before all this pandemic $#!T. Welcome to the forum man!
