Whenever I talk to anyone who's debating Air Ride I always ask them two questions: The type of driving they'll be doing 70%+ of the time. And where do you live?
If you're going to want a lift and take the truck off road a lot then maybe skip the air. But if its mostly highway I recommend it...
Honestly this looks great man. You've got much more patience than I do. As much as I like the accent trim in a Rebel, I don't have the steady hand, time or patience to do something like this in my Sport. Would love to see how it turns out!
I literally watched that video yesterday, hopped on the site to purchase them, then quickly closed the browser. That price is just ridiculous. I'd consider paying if that was the install price maybe but for the product itself it's just not worth it to me. To each their own though. It definitely...
I let my free trial end and had/have no intention of renewing. Like most people here I just don't listen to the satellite radio enough for it to be worth it when I already pay for Spotify Premium. So really all that I'd want it for is the remote lock/unlock feature, but even that was so hit or...
Thanks for the follow up. I'm the same, I only typically wait 5 mins when the temps aren't that bad. Or not at all when its nice. It's the extreme cold that I was curious about.
This... This is the one I've been on the market for. What a beaut. Seems I have to factory order one though as I have not seen any for sale throughout the entire country. I guess Canadians aren't 'patriots'
You Muricans and your imperial ways haha. Hear me out... what if we just said 0 was the freezing point of water, and 100 the boiling? Simple, right?
But yes, I figured my temps were ok except for my trans which was negative:oops: but mind you but that was already running 10 minutes + at...
It's very noticeable at lower speeds. Doesn't matter who you are, when it kicks in at low RPM's it's god awful. Cruising at highway speeds you can't really tell but that's subjective - for some it may be a different story. Personally I just use the gear limiter to disengage MDS from ever coming on.
Just an update to this thread. Attached were my temps after remote starting and waiting a little over 10 mins. The weather app said it was -29C (-20F) earlier this morning with the wind-chill making it more like -36C (-33F). As I said in my last post my truck HATES the cold and I haven't heard...
Exhaust - the always subjective topic. I'll add my two pennies so you have more info to go off of. I got a muffler delete from a reputable shop. $200 CAD to chop and weld. Out the door in less than an hour. I opted to keep the resonators for drone sake and plugged the weep holes myself with some...
It does help. Have you encountered any rubbing with the stock setup? I haven't put my BORA's on yet but I also have 2" all around. I downsized on the width (285 stock to 275) but have a 33's instead of 32's. I've been concerned that I went a bit too aggressive on the spacer size but by the looks...
*proceeds to name his stable* :ROFLMAO:
It's funny because my friends have recently given my truck a name and I'm rolling with it. Aside from my first ever vehicle, I haven't named one, but have had others do it for me.
Toyota Pickup (First) - Pope (AKA Pope Benedict III) and later when I...
This is very interesting news to me. Guess I'm stuck in the past with my thinking that you should let the vehicle warm up before driving it. Can anyone who experiences -22F+ AND does not garage their truck comment on this? Mine HATES the freezing cold weather my part of the world experiences for...
5-8% Below invoice? Damn. I wish I could find these sort of deals. Every dealer I talked to basically stopped returning emails/texts/calls after I told them the price range I was looking for. Guess I have to work on my people skills.
I've never really paid attention to these numbers to be honest. When I worked in the auto industry I dealt with all makes/models but one thing always stood out in the pickup world - Ford dominates the fleet market in Canada. Even those sales stats don't seem right (too low). The RCMP and...
If you do a 1to1 comparison with stock in the same size the Wildpeaks are noticeably heavier which I would assume is the biggest reason. I have LT275/70r18 AT3W's as opposed to my stock 285/45r22's so while I can't give a direct comparison with MPG, I haven't noticed that big of a difference. I...
