Not bad, really, for a 3.92 axel ratio, 35" tires and 4" lift at such speeds.
Do note that the OP has 3.21 axel ratio, and probably stock tires/suspension.
I do have a Tazer DT installed, Yes. And I have the Park Cam feature enabled. I'll disable Park Cam and see how it goes. Now that I'm familiar with maneuvering the truck in parking lots, I don't need it anymore. Thanks for the tip.
Whenever the front park sensors are triggered by an obstacle, while the truck is in Drive (moving or at a traffic stop), the 360 degrees camera top view and front camera view display on the top half of the 12" screen, as expected. The bottom half of the screen goes dark.
The problem is this...
+2" diameter ==> +1" lift ;) . My 285/45R22 are dwarfed by the wheel arches. Looking forward to installing these particular tires. If I could only catch a 4th of July sale.
Thanks for the data point. I did come across a setup with +10 offset with no rubbing, but they didn't have aftermarket...
I've been researching this tire size for my stock '23 Longhorn (no air suspension). It seems, second to lift/leveling, wheel offset is the most critical fitment factor. Wonder what offset your wheels have and what is your best guess for trimming-less offset.
Perhaps... but electric motors are driven by "analog" electrical signals. Whether an analog signal traversed from speed sensor to speedometer unmolested, or went through analog-digital-analog conversion, is up to implementation. The former is more robust. The latter is definitely required for a...
Several little things, some are personal/unproven objections, and most are not specific to RAM's implementation;
Aesthetics: I really liked the discarded Longhorn analog cluster.
Confused priorities: It's a mix of critical and frivolous display options. I think the cluster should be limited to...
Sometimes, manufacturers have maintenance recommendations driven by disparate regional (especially environmental) regulations, for better or worse. Case in point, Subaru USA claims lifetime CVT fluid, which contradicts Subaru Canada's recommended 60,000-mile intervals for normal use.
My 2015...
This could escalate pretty quick, cost wise. I would look up someone who actually did the swap and pick their brain on the actual list of changes, costs, and consequent behavior. The Tazer would probably have a say as well... it's behavior is not consistent across model years.
A simpler swap...
What the others said. Nothing beats a trusted local mechanic.
At one point, I got so fed up with my dealer's incompetence, upselling and exuberant prices, that I educated myself through online surfing, spent nearly $1,000 on tools and equipment, and now do all my maintenance in and around my...
Please let us know how it goes. I plan to temporarily remove it when I get the right size rubber stop to help prevent the tailgate from minutely shifting sideways during use. Seems to impeded my BakFlip bed cover operation when it shifts too far to the right.
Video above doesn't show the left retaining ring (nor does the owner's manual). At 00:27, the right retaining ring is C-shaped, which allows lifting away from the bed shaft at a certain opened angle.
I could be wrong, but I think the left retaining ring is O-shaped which requires sliding the...
You are correct about the Bluedriver. My memory failed me. I checked my logs and I actually used the OBDLink MX+ with the ActiveOBD app to check my Subaru's CVTF temp.
I'll edit Post #6 if I can.
The optimal choice would be one that supports OEM codes and OEM Live data for the vehicle brand(s) your family has or plans to acquire in the near future. Examples:
Bluedriver + ActiveOBD allow me to read our Subaru's CVT temperature for proper fluid leveling. Bluedriver's own hardware/app...
Just installed mine today. They're a bit minimalist, though. You can even work around them to change the engine oil and filter.
Oh, and the specified torque is 60-65 Nm.
