As I think about it I wonder if those south of the border could order Canadian sport hood badges and put them on ( you’d need the sport hood option though ) look like they are separate from the other plastic piece. Also my RAM in the grille is black too

Neither. Being in in Canada we have a sport model not available in the us. All badges are black even all my hood emblems as are my exhaust tips. The only shiny bits are what’s on my wheels

I put the mopar gloss black running boards on mine look great and have a very thin side profile so they don't really stand out

Yea ive noticed that, I mentioned that to the dealer who had no idea they acted this way, im sure the service techs do. All is well now but it was a bit scary for a minute...... Hope all this helps someone else in the future

Im no help to you at the tailgate, but theres a white/tan tracer wire in the drivers side rear door sill that is energized when the tailgate / cargo lamps are activated.

The lights are side specific and the led boards are angled toward the front.

Just noticed mine has tinted tails as well ( the 4th gen sports had em too) and my rear sensor bar in the tail lights is black. Not sure about sport packages but mine also has black chrome exhaust tips
