There are gremlins in the uconnect software
Often mine wont let me select media or return to home. Plus the seat cooling sometines randomly turns on. Seat heat randomly turns on even if 70 degress outside.
Dealer looks at you like you are crazy.
Actually uconnect is whacky.
To replace pads and rotors you must be driving like a NY downtown taxi cab. Replacing rotors at 56k seems hard to imagine because if you keep your pads from wearing thru, the rotors can easily last 3x that long.
Even putting in your year and model Ram, Amazon may send you a nozzle, but it may take a different hose size than original. Your best bet is getting the Mopar nozzle, or possibly going to Advance or Autozone etc, but don't leave the store until you make sure their nozzle fits your hose...
I spoke with the shop foreman at the largest Ram dealer in the US. He says that the battery control module is an integral part of the 48v battery. I.e. its apparently one part number.
Op found this, in a document...
2022 Ram 1500.
Federal Emission Warranty, states the following:
The covered...
Anthony is right. A Stellantis senior exec provided me an employee price code a while ago.
It was nowhere near as good as a straight up deal I got from Mark Dodge. If Anthony says it, you can rely on him.
If grey letters are $300 that'll be your best option. Maybe you can get a mopar dealer discount on that.
Don't feel too bad, on my 16 Longhorn Limited, I had factory chrome Ram letters on the tailgate about 12" tall. For 8 years I thought i was a Ram billboard.
Thomas.schott reportedly posted a warranty link for his 2019. The 48v battery is not listed, but the control unit is. So battery apparently not covered for 2019
Another poster showed a less detailed warranty description of covered items on his 22 and made a reference to a vip link, but that...
Regarding price, most dealers lie constantly. I asked the Va dealer if they could beat the La price. They claimed they would lose $3000 if they did. I think the chance of that being true was zero.
Warranty service pays the dealer the same money regardless of where it was bought. A dealer can cop an attitude, but I buy Rams in La, with servuce in Va and never a problem.
Jimmy07 seems like just aboit the smartest guy on the forum especially for electrical. He and others mention a concern about your rates going up.
Like OldMarine said above, the way DV works is your accident has to be caused by somebody else in most or all states. It is their company that pays...
I agree with wvinson above. If you like a gloss finish, you wont beat Crystal, Untouchable.
Used it for years. No sling, no browning. The easiest possible spray application. $8 at Advance, but half that at Walmart. Closest thing to free lunch, if you like gloss.
Scottmoyer is exactly right. Most dealers lie.
I showed my MD deal to a local Richmond Va dealer and he claimed he would lose $3000 at MDs price. I didn't believe a word he said.
Bought at MD. Had it shipped for $800.
A smokin great deal, and the dealer fee was 500 less too.
That should include about $4k in taxes etc, and if so that's $72k for the truck. At a minimum that shoud be a $92k msrp.
If you can't get a legit $20 before taxes off of 90k+, suggest you right away, call Anthony at Mark Dodge. He's the real deal. No bs
Not sure why Knight Cjdr would move prices up and down within the day. Sounds sketchy at a minimum. As mentioned, the majority of their Ram prices were about 20%off.
I was able to verify that on of their list of discounts, one for $1500 used trade in bonus is apparently total bs, so be...
Most everyone knows TK on you tube has been sayin 30-35% off msrp is coming.
Well sure enough i found 30% off on several 25 Big Horns at a Ca dealer today. Other Rams were more like 20% off.
It's part dealer discount and part Ram discounts and rebates, with about 1/3 coming from the dealer...
