tell them you might cancel and they ll get an answer I bet, Lazy.
I ve been lucky order cars the last few years , NO DEPOSIT. That s was due to the shortage and they didn t care if you picked up the car when it came in, LOL.
There was not. Talked to the insurance rep today and he said there would not be an increase in premium with my history or lack of with them. Also it was parked and no involvement by me. I ve been happy with Liberty for decades now. He said the bodyshop has the freedom to do the repair as they...
Could be just about anything factory related. Could be they found production issue. 2024 Ford Mustang s got held up several times for that reason . Quality control. Made me buy a different year , LOL.
Could most likely be a vehicle specific item, any others that you know held up? Dealer...
correct on the grill depending how many parts are broken on that alone, ranges from 300-1000. Mind has such a light hit or scrape that I think it's only the outer part. But I agree on $2500. Now it s only $500 from me.
Filed claim online, picked body shop who happens to be a Certified shop with my insurance company. Probably a month wait time with this well respected and busy shop.
Thanks all, I got liberty mutual for years, I have a lot of discounts too. I m waiting to see the bill first. With $500 deductible I can t see myself putting out 1500-2000 cash. Tried looking at part prices but it was a little hard to nail that down so I ll wait. I m guessing $2500 ?
Never...
My truck got hit while parked. Looks like a trailer dragged across the front as I was backed in a spot and on the corner spot. Waiting for estimate to determine if it goes the insurance or not. ($500 deductible ). I asked my insurance already and they said it COULD go up at renewal even...
well that good news then. you did move the vehicle each time you adjusted to let it settle I m sure.
Full disclosure / when I did mine I also went the wrong direction at first and the wheel was a little more off center . Then I went back and re did opposite plus added a little and it was...
I stated early in the thread you need to write every movement down in case.... hope you got it.
FYI, I also kept the lock nut so close that I could easily see which way it was adjusting.
way less turn from my limited experience . I would go no more than 1/4 turn the first try and then see. Mark it all down in case you have to back off a little. Take it around the block and you ll see right away. I don't think you can equate the turns in the vid to our trucks.
Funny thing, and maybe it was another reason I didn t go back, the printout showed it was straight . I didn't want to hear all their BS about crowns in the road etc. etc...
FYI, after you loosen the lock nut, I was doing maybe 1/8 to 1/4 turn on the adjusting nut. You also have both side to equal out (so as not to ruin the toe setting) AND you must be sure in what direction you turn. Write it down as you do it in case you have to go to re adjust (which I did)...
yea you are right, just depends on how far off it is. If it s like 1/8 off they won t be happy. And then do you trust them? Don t forget this isn t the answer to an alignment thats off in other specs.
never seen a printout like that but everything sits within the specs according to their printout.
I had my truck done when it was new and it was off spec. Funny thing is the steering was dead straight until the alignment and then it was a hair off center . Drove me nuts. Looked up on u tube...
