You don't need bypass, l popped the back of the star connector and soldered two wires to the end port and popped the cover back on. did the rain sense with alphobd, it does work. just make sure you get signal hi and low correct.

I am asking for some more technical info. The wiring harness that is the problem, is there no way to modify the existing harness? If not, for some reason, why is a new harness needed? Is there no way to get pins for the existing harness plug ends?

been looking around that site, ran 3 different trucks, 1500 bighorn cc, then the same 2500 and 3500. need someone that knows more about door handles. the descriptions seems to be very similar. I don't see any cap for the 2500,3500s. example 6NV611SCAD $40, 6NV571SCAD $88.

It is billet silver, not even the limited has chrome handle? And how do you find this information? I wanted to change all handles to chrome and have passive entry on only the driver door.

And I am having a problem with I guess, paint codes. I just want chrome, any ideas?

I want to do just the drivers door, looks like the door handle is the same. Just to make sure no mix up, what cap is for the driver door and does the harness come with those parts?
