when looking at the Mopar lift kit which is struts, shocks, rear spacer and UCA ‘s , it also includes bumper pad spacers and new track bar brackets. I understand the UCA’s but why the bumper pad and track bar parts? Is this required due to the two inch rear adjustment? Have not heard of anyone...
And this is Bilstein and spacer only, OEM springs, OEM UCA’s? Looks good, I’ve decided 5” in front and 1 inch spacer in back, now to shop for tires.....
Does a rear spacer affect ride much at all? It shouldn’t mess with spring/shock travel like the front end spacers. Which spacer brand did u go with? Assume I should go with Bilsteins all around as rear shocks can handle a 1 inch lift as well. I still like idea of the Icon spring as lifting...
Ok, after waiting a year to decide what to do I still am on the fence. First it was Mopar lift with level , then Bilstein level, now thinking Bilstein with Icon the rear spring.....
I have a two wheel drive , very little off road work but would like a little more height maybe 2” in front 1” in...
Well I finally took the plunge as the weather in Houston is already in the eighties and I do not want to go thru another summer were short trips are unbearable. Only problem is I was in such a hurry I Installed valve on inlet hose , did a redo and of course took a bit to get the outlet hose...
Excellent , exactly look and height I was looking for my 2 wd Ram, what’s your thoughts on how it handles now, and impact on mpg with lift and larger tires?
Finally had a chance to install replacement VLEDS , everything is bright again!!! Hopefully the one that failed was a fluke and not something related to my trucks electrical system. Have to send a picture showing destroyed faulty product. Thanks VLEDS
Ok, checked fuses, re did wire connections, all harness plug good and tight and still nothing. Called VLEDS , Eli sending replacement today. Thank goodness they stand by their product, not many do these days. Can’t wait to reinstall now that I am used to the extra light.
What checks would you suggest? I installed using the harness method and it worked perfectly until now. Connections are tight and dry . Had a few rain storms this week but everything is dry and taped up.
Well I went to pull out of drive in dark this morning and no bright light . VLEDs crapped out on me in less than a month. Re checked all connections no issues just no light. For what that charge I expected this to be a quality product. Anyone else have theirs fail?
Well, after having a software adjustment a few months back thought all was well but now with our 95 deg plus high humidity in Houston it is not cooling down. Vent output takes 15-20 minutes to achieve an acceptable comfort level. Wife won’t ride in truck for any short trips. Her vehicle blows...
