    New Tires On

Hey all, just slapped on some new tires for my rig as my previous set was beyond their last leg. Went with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T in 295/60/20 and WOW what a world of difference. Smooth as hell, quiet and an overall great choice: aggressive looking, 3PMSF rated, 50k mile treadwear...

    275/65r20 Falken Wildpeaks

Hey, so I'm not running that particular size and I'm sure others will chime in, but on stock suspension I suspect that you may rub, at least a tad. I'm running 295/60 with air suspension and the ORG and just put on new tires, yesterday. They rub ever so slightly at full lock (even though my...

When is the DT due for a mid-cycle refresh?

Yeah those were the rumors I heard, as well - unveil in 2022 for MY23 but obviously the pandemic has thrown that for a big loop. I certainly think it's due, though with everyone else catching up.

When is the DT due for a mid-cycle refresh?

It seems just like yesterday that Ram debuted the 5th gen to thunderous ovation, particularly with the benchmark setting interior and the largest (at the time) infotainment screen in the segment. Fast forward just ~3 years and most of the direct competitors have either caught up or significantly...

    2022 GMC Sierra??

Funnily enough I did something similar yesterday and came pretty close to that $80k, as well. Even more outrageous was I priced out a Yukon Denali and it came to ~$85k. That at least is a bit more understandable considering it's an entirely new generation and thoroughly redesigned with all of...

    2022 GMC Sierra??

I 100% agree with you - I nerded out and did a complete comparison spreadsheet between our trucks and the new Sierra since I will be in the market, soon and it ended up being pretty even. Both offer some unique features that the other doesn't so it becomes more of what are you willing to live...

    2022 GMC Sierra??

I’m really digging the Denali Ultimate, and with the lease on my Limited coming up in September I may have to take a good hard look especially with supercruise, the massage seats (selling point to the wife as others have mentioned) and the 6.2 (had this motor in my Escalade). The exterior...

    Sirius XM Renewal

Agree with what some others have said - I'm not sure what the "Platinum" plan includes, but we have the music & entertainment ("select" is what SXM calls it) which is enough for what we use it for.

    Sirius XM Renewal

To be honest, my experience has been exactly the opposite. I’ve renewed the SiriusXM “select” package on my truck and wife’s car every 6 months for the last few years each time locking in for about $5-$6 a month using the same tactic: standard pricing is too expensive, will cancel if they can’t...

RAM Opens It’s Build & Price Configurator For The 2022 Ram 1500:

Yikes - I'm going to assume it's due to the semiconductor shortage and they're reserving everything for the Limited. Makes sense but definitely a big blow.

RAM Opens It’s Build & Price Configurator For The 2022 Ram 1500:

Is lack of ASG availability on the Longhorn confirmed for MY22? So no adaptive cruise, lane keep, forward collision warning, etc? Someone earlier mentioned that it may simply be "included" in the Level 1 Equipment group (with certain features implied but not listed). I was hoping to get into a...

    Help w/Lease-End Options

I 100% agree with this sentiment especially considering what Vroom offered me for my truck just a month or two ago. That said, the issue becomes what I would get into right now if I sold my truck - the options are less than stellar (IMO). The Tundra looks great but no V8 option, and I wasn't...

    Help w/Lease-End Options

But I'd only have to secure buyout financing for a third party sale if I'm within 60 days of lease termination, right? If I'm outside of the 60 days I can pretty much sell to whomever; settle the residual value + remaining payments and walk away?

    Help w/Lease-End Options

If going this route, will mileage overages, etc matter if you're purchasing out of lease? I'll be over my mileage allotment by lease-end and that reason, along with the fact that the current market has the value of my truck close to what I paid for it after 2.5 years leads me to either sell it...

    Help w/Lease-End Options

Hey all, I wanted to get some real world experiences for anyone who may have gone through this recently so I can plan ahead and know what to expect, especially since this is my first lease. The lease on my truck comes due September 2022 and was done through Chrysler Capital. I have 11 payments...

    Pics of 295/60/r20

FWIW I am running this size tire on my Limited. While I do have ORP, my tires do not rub even in aero mode on the air ride. That said, I think the ultimate factor will be what type of wheels you intend to use - I purposely went with -12mm offset to combat possible rubbing issues. Hope this helps.

    Nitto or Toyo AT3…. 285/55r22

So after some additional research and due diligence, I have to walk back my initial thoughts on the MT Baja Boss - these could very well be my next set of tires. To your point, very aggressive looking (those sidebiters are off the charts) available in my current 295/60r20 size, 50k treadwear...

    Nitto or Toyo AT3…. 285/55r22

No, I'm running aftermarket 20x9 -12mm and my current tires are 295/60r20 which if memory serves they do offer. Hmm, sounds like I need to look again. I agree with the overanalyzing part though - "well this one weights xx lbs more, but this one is 3PMSF rated, but this one is cheaper" etc etc...

    Off-Road Information Pages without ORG?

Interesting to hear all these takes - if it is actually possible to "enable" off-road info pages in the uconnect screen via OBDII in the newer model years then theoretically you could have a Limited + night edition + pseudo ORG: Theoretically (included in ORG): - off road information pages...

    Nitto or Toyo AT3…. 285/55r22

Couldn't agree more. Ironically, a buddy of mine (fellow Mopar guy) recommended I check out the Mickey Thompsons but they're just not...aggressive looking enough for me. The ATZ model look great but don't come in my preferred size, unfortunately.
