The Ramboxes have 150lb cargo capacity each so RAM automatically subtracts 300lbs from your payload. As long as you know how much weight you have in there you can "gain" some payload back.
There's a ton of PNs out there for the TPMS sensors. I went to the dealer to get the actual part number for my truck and then found a set on ebay for way cheaper than going with the mopar store (and probably whatever any aftermarket place will charge for the sensors).
You could always try LKQ (sometimes Keystone) if you have a shop near you. They typically sell to body shops but you can buy from them and they sometimes have parts already painted.
Yeah I figured it wasn't going to go as smooth as it was haha. I hate insurance. One of the biggest scams ever created. I plan on it, I'm not in a hurry haha. We were only supposed to use it once this yr and wife is 8 months pregnant so I got nothing but time to fight them.
It seems adjusters are in short supply these days. Damn that sucks. Good luck with it! I'm not quite in the clear anymore because now the other insurance company is trying to screw us over lol.
Yeah I was shocked as well because the shop quoted me 15K in parts and labor (before taking the bathroom apart) which is not even 50% of MSRP so idk why they decided to go with total.
Insurance called me today and they will be totaling the camper out. Waiting to hear what the payout will be but If my calculations are correct I think we'll be coming out ahead by about 7k and the dealer has the same one in stock for now 3k less than we paid because 23s are rolling in (but we...
I don't know what his payload is but I imagine it's pretty high, hes got the full? cab (do they still call the smaller 4 door a full?). I wouldn't be surprised if his is close to full payload but even with that having probably 1100+lbs tongue and then adding 4 kids might be cutting it close if...
Mine came on Sunday! Can't wait to see how they look on the truck but I'm still waiting for some tpms sensors so hopefully I'll have time in the next couple of weeks. they look great! Packaging was great and shipping was fast.
I hadn't towed anything in like 15yrs and vowed to stay under 30ft. I have 3.92s, put E-Rated (Vredestein Pinza) tires, WDH, helper bags, and am considering the Tuson Sway control module (for the camper). I have only towed about 130miles so far but the truck barely notices the trailer is back...
I was dead set on the Freedom express 257BHS for a while but we ended up buying a Starcraft 241BH because the main kitchen area just had way more open space. Grand Design also has an Imagine 2400BH that is the same floor plan as the Starcraft (had I known this at the time I probably would've...
I'd say mine performs adequately but not great. When it's up in the 80s-90s I think it'd be uncomfortable without the seats on. My 11 Maxima easily destroys this A/C wise although I think the seats on the RAM perform slightly better. The RAM windshield also lets in a lot of heat.
