I only had my truck for a short time before I traded it in but got caught in a bad storm on the highway. Pure white out, couldnt see a damn thing. Had to go to the left shoulder as i could barely see the yellow line and there was a wired fence in the median as my guide to the tell where the road...
Wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. Obviously my payments went up but my interest is alot less and 1 year less term. In the end ill have paid $3k less. Just couldnt deal with the fact i only owned the ram for 3 months and had 5 issues. Then again my at4 is at the dealership getting dents...
I just traded in my 2019 Ram 1500 sport in for a 2019 gmc at4. The ram got better mileage. Couple things to note. Mileage gets better after you break the truck in. Second, the rebel is more orientated towards off roading, as is the at4, so they will get worse gas mileage compared to a regular...
I recently did a 6000km trip. Tried 89 for the first part, accidentally filled with 91/93 in a few states and 87 for the last half of the trip. Not a single difference in mileage. Its a placebo effect.
I had the atak on my sport. Didnt effect fuel economy at all. Performance was negotiable. Sound was really aggressive. Here is a video i took. After i drive away, skip to the end. Takes me awhile to get turned and around. When i first leave its like normal and then when i leave again its wot
Pretty good. Its a 10 way adjustable. Doesnt do the lumbar support up or down like the rams so thats a down fall. I have a back injury from the military so seat comfort is probably the most important thing i look for in a vehicle.
Yea im Canadian so no lemon law here. Did the deal. Someone even with the negative equity the lower interest and 1 year shorter term equals less overall amount owing. Picking the new 2019 GMC AT4 with the 6.2 engine and 10 speed transmission up on thursday.
95% gonna go for it. Took out a fully loaded denali but price is to steep with alot of options i dont want. So looking at a AT4 which has everything i want and not what i dont want. Has higher payload limit which was a issue with my ram, needing to haul 2 motorbikes across the country.
So...
This is my 4th as well (05 srt-10, 2015 Base Lt, 2016 sport and now 2019 sport)
Just sick of issues and FCA being stupid with the air ride left a sour taste about their products.
Alright. So i traded my 2016 sport in for a 2019 due to the ****ty air ride system. Got my 2019 sport 3 months ago and have had multiple issues (why i decided to get the 1st year model of a new gen i have no clue). But like others my truck has suffered from no ac since day one, loud metallic...
Hasnt been a recall because it hasnt killed anyone yet. Thats what fca told me after I asked them why mine and everyones warranties were denied. Excuses ranged from user error, user abuse, lack of completed recalls (on systems that has nothing to do with air ride), to off roading and my favorite...
Along with thousands, maybe even 10’s of thousands between canadian and american owners. Yea.....unlucky.
The day i brought my ram in, there was 13 other rams in that day alone, ahead of me at that dealership, all for the same thing. Couldnt get a loaner or a rental because every dodge...
Assuming you live in ottawa. You dont have harsh winters like in alberta. That being said, give it more time and it will. Mine made it through the first winter fine. 3/4 of the way through the second winter with a week long temps of minus 29, feeling like minus 35 to minus 40 kill the...
Still the same design. Nitrogen filled closed system. When a bag leaks it brings in outside moist air from behind the tail light. That moist air freezes in the valves and compressor. Unless they added a really good air dryer, the system is useless in winters. May work fine for a winter or two...
If you live in southern states, yes. But if you live north where it gets cold during winters, then no. I had a 2016. Was fine for the first winter but this past winter it **** the bed and caused so many issues. Traded it in for my 2019 with no air ride.
If you remove the retractable air dam, it does not trip a code. I hit a fox recently and it broke the bracket. Cant buy just the bracket so i had to replace the whole unit. I removed the broken one while i waited for the dealership to get in the new one. Never tripped a code.
Like wise. Its also dangerous as hell. Drove my wifes suv that has that lane assist **** and it was near the winter months. Was on the hwy when it started getting foggy and black ice was forming. Staying in the groves in my lane was causing the suv to fish tail a little so i kept driving out of...
