I use Armor All tire foam. Gives a nice, clean, new look without being too shiny. If you like shiny, you'll want to use a different product.

Yeah, I too frequently get the "tailgate not fully closed" warning message, seems you really have to slam the gate pretty forcefully to keep that from coming on. Maybe I'm not doing it right, I don't know. But overall love the split tailgate and ramboxes, wouldn't want my Rebel without them.

I like the Husky guards, the fit was very good and easy to install. I did go ahead with the "optional" additional screw on the front guards, which required drilling a hole in the plastic (was easy) because they seemed to flop around too much vs the backs, even with the sticky tape which doesn't...

I like them a lot. There are others out there that are probably more durable for off-road, but these have a great look and feel solid. Installed them myself, like the OEM because the brackets are already in place for easy install vs some out there where you have to install the brackets...
