All I can say is that for a kid just out of college getting his first real paycheck, it was a blast living in Lafayette Louisiana!! It was a party every night (literally) and a festival every weekend!! I even went out with the Yam queen of Donaldsonville!
Another Louisiana memory for me: My friends - "hey, let's go to the drive-thru daquari hut!". Me (from Arizona) - "Uh, wut?...." Then after purchasing and driving off drinking in car, Me - "Uh, so how is this not in violation of open container?..." Friends - "well, they put masking tape...
Bumping this because I'm trying to choose now on a Flowmaster muffler. I'm keeping my resonators on so I don't get any rasping, and the muffler guy is recommending the Super 10 or the 40 series. To me that's going to be too loud and might have some droning. I'm leaning towards Super 40 now...
Yeah, same with me, first time I tried a decal this large. I ended up using the wet hinge method which was really helpful in positioning. Had about a 2" crease develop in one section on the edge near the grille (which I didn't know was there until the final plastic was pulled off), but pulled...
I considered a Silverado for my recent truck purchase, but as I dug into the details in my research, I found the Ram had better interior, suspension and technology. Ram was an easy choice for me.
Lived in Lafayette for 3 years. My wife is from Opelousas.
When I first came to Louisiana, (Acadiana), it was for a job interview. At the airport the cabbie asked me where I was staying, and I said "Hotel Aca-Indiana". I got the scenic tour on the way to the hotel as a result.
Later after...
Here's one of the better explanations of how it works, and how it's much better than competitor's stop/hybrid systems. Good to get insight from an actual Ram specialist. There's a lot of details in this video that I haven't seen in others, like once the battery is full, the system does things...
It depends how long the truck has been running up to that point. I assume the system has to store capacity for a while, and this capacity only lasts so long. I have been at a stop where it has shut down but then started up again, not sure how long I was sitting there though. It also depends...
Mine has engaged flawlessly. Clearly saving gas at stops when it shuts the engine off, and the start when releasing the brake is smooth. I'm very happy with the eTorque system.
I did the same yesterday. I was originally going to purchase with CWD, but the Zeigler deal with the code was a better price for the same plan. Went with Maxcare 6/60 for $745. Great deal. Thanks to all those that have posted the code!
I'm trying this now, sounds complicated but it really isn't. I selected my google map route on my phone, clicked share directions, found Uconnect and clicked share route. If it works, that's an acceptable process to me and allows for the full 12" map.
