What did you do to your Ram today???

To be fair, a lot of new cars are using the stupid rotor screws. My wife's old car had them. At least Chrysler uses the Torx head vs. some cars/trucks that use a philips head. The rotors getting rusted on is another common issue that happens with multiple vehicles. The issue is I never thought...

    3" factory rake?

Difference is Rebel/ORP Trucks vs. Non-ORP. I can't remember what the difference in lift is but I believe it's 1-1.5" from the factory on the Rebel/ORP. Seems that the best way to level is measure the stock rake and go from there. I had almost 3" of factory rake right before I did my Bilsteins...

What did you do to your Ram today???

I 100% agree. I think it's definitely a good procedure to do to make sure you are on your way. With that being said, I've done probably 12-15 sets of brakes on different vehicles over the years without doing this procedure and I would say most of them turned out fine. The only ones that didn't...

    3" factory rake?

I should have updated this thread. I went with the 5100's set to the highest setting for 2" of front lift. It's actually perfect. Truck retained about 1/2-3/4" of rake and I couldn't be happier with the look. I think it depends a lot on how many miles are on the truck as well. My Rebel has 67k...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Yup lol. I did the best I could. It's difficult to find quiet long stretches of road here. I just did it going around the block a few times as best I could, then drove real slow and putted around for 5-6 minutes after. They eventually will seat in on their own after normal driving. I think they...

    Camber nonsense

I'm 40 and basically grew up with a wrench in my hand. Started at 10 helping my father with lawn equipment, tractors, cars, had a dirt bike, etc. No one will ever put as much care into your vehicle as you will. The only exception is I have a buddy who does classic car restoration and they are on...

    Camber nonsense

The second shop I took it to, didn't do it right either. It's close but I can see it's off. I am taking it to the place I should have gone with in the first place. It's actually called "The Wheel Alignment Place." Most of the work he does is alignment but he does brakes, suspension, etc if it's...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Did Powerstop Z36 rotors and pads on all 4 corners. Also flushed the brake fluid with Amsoil Dot 3-4 synthetic. Huge difference in stopping. I can't complain about the stock brakes. 70k in miles, 1-2k of towing annually, and the fronts had about 30-40% left. Backs I could have stretched another...

    Camber nonsense

I have a client who owns an autobody shop that said the same thing. When I told him what they said about not doing the camber, his response was "Then they didn't align it...don't pay them."

    ANTI SPIN DIF

The Rebel has the e-locker, as was mentioned. If you have the e-locker, no you don't need it. If you have the auto-slip diff, then yes, you do. And what is in AmsOil and other commercial gear oils is not enough. You'll get chattering. You will need to add the Mopar additive.

Serious question. For those buying new, are you waiting for a leak or just going ahead and caulking everything?

I'm not sure to be honest. Dealer took care of it. I tried and tried to find the leak but couldn't. When I got it back they just said "yeah it was your sunroof drains" and I didn't think much of it.

Serious question. For those buying new, are you waiting for a leak or just going ahead and caulking everything?

They fixed a lot of the issues by now. My 2019 had almost every leak. 3rd brake light, rear window frame crack (replaced under warranty), sun roof drains in the front and back. The only one it didn't have is the satellite sharkfin (knock wood). My advice would be to keep an eye on things and...

    Recommendations: External add-on lights

I am looking for some recommendations for add-on external lights, perhaps from folks who use their trucks for hunting as well. I do a lot of hunting where I often find myself at a pitch black sand boat ramp, or in the middle of the woods, or even at the beach. The first logical one is chase...

    towing with cruise control

I don't tow anything big but I do tow probably 1000 miles a year. I use the cruise control all the time without any issues.

    Exhaust Manifold Options

People seem to forget the abuse these things endure between heat, getting rapidly cooled from a hot state if you run over a puddle, numerous heat cycles, etc. I rarely make an excuse for Mopar but it seems to be a running theme among so many manufacturers. They all seem to eventually go.

Do I need to replace my UCA's?

I just did the 2" level with Bilstein 5100's and I went with the Rough Country OEM upgraded UCA's. I didn't go with the 3-3.5" lift compatible ones because after speaking to RC, the OEM upgraded forged have additional travel specs and a better ball joint angle and they said they would work just...

Headlight Adjustment 2019 RAM Rebel (projector headlights) with 2" level, # of turns to correct headlights position so you don't blind people

Probably not the type of flashing you were hoping for right? Wrong hi-beams lol

Headlight Adjustment 2019 RAM Rebel (projector headlights) with 2" level, # of turns to correct headlights position so you don't blind people

This happened to me a lot as well. I just did the 2" level. I am leaving it unless it continues now with the level. If it continues to happen then I'll readjust the headlights.

Mine behaves the same especially when cold, delay from 1st to 2nd shift. It seems to be normal behavior.

Ford to Eliminate Park Assist Feature - Will Stellantis follow?

Agree completely. One other feature I would like to see phased in is front camera. Other than that, I would be completely content.
