What did you do to your Ram today???

I'm in NJ so it doesn't get quite as hot. Do you notice it cuts down on the light a lot? I love the pano roof but always keep the shade closed because I get crazy glare in the cab.

    Just curious

2019 Ram Rebel - 67k - Owned since 9/19 - Driver's side mirror defrost didn't work - replaced under warranty - Broken exhaust bolt mid stream (after cat, I believe) - fixed under warranty - Dead battery - replaced under warranty - Etorque MGU - replaced under warranty (same time as battery) -...

    Clunk no-more

The Energy Suspension ones have both zerk and non zerk shackles. I am going to buy the zerk shackles. Your clunk may also be due to the need for longer end links. I just did Bilstein 5100's on mine with a 2" lift setting. I am noting a little rough/banging ride in the front. I don't know if I...

Check for sludge in your Radiator overfill (5.7 Hemi)

Yup. Seems to be the case. I've always changed my old oil and it comes out black/brown color which is not indicative of oil. In OP's case, you would imagine it might have started to manifest as a milkiness in the oil.

Check for sludge in your Radiator overfill (5.7 Hemi)

Did you notice any milky oil? Mine had like this sort of "dusty" residue in the coolant tank. I also noticed my coolant was low at one point. I've read this is common because it's not a completely closed system. Usually with a bad head gasket you'll get some milkiness to the oil and/or steam...

    Clunk no-more

I didn't realize, you were referring to the end links. I was referring to the frame shackle/bushings.

What did you do to your Ram today???

What's involved with the vapor can? I'm actually hoping my driver side manifold goes before 9/26 and 100k in miles. I'll probably get to 9/26 first. Really would like that covered under warranty.

What did you do to your Ram today???

In all seriousness, if you read the federal regulations, it's 80". Here's an interpretation: https://www.nhtsa.gov/interpretations/nht80-426#:~:text=of%20the%20basic%20vehicle%20design,inches%20due%20to%20the%20tolerances Any vehicle over 80". Unless they aren't counting fender flares, our...

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

Sheesh, sad state of affairs. At least I can now justify to my wife all the insane, over-the-top, maintenance I've been doing on my 2019 Rebel.

You are blessed to have the truck you have. Hold on to that bad boy.

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

Like I said, I'm not sure. Here is a video from only 2 weeks ago.

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

There also has been rumors Dodge is going to surprise everyone with a new Hemi release. I won't hold my breath. It's been heavily pushed online though. Orange valve covers. The only vehicle they are saying may get it though is the Charger Hellcat.

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

Well is it just going to be the "Rebel" then? Our trucks were basically a "pseudo-Raptor" (God help me for saying that). So is this what it ends up being with an increase in performance. The TRX is basically just no-more, I guess. I dunno. In another life I'd have gotten a TRX to have. I...

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

So the TRX is going from a 700hp supercharged V8 to a 541hp turbocharged inline 6. What a massive failure. Such a disappointment. Why even bother anymore?

    Exhaust manifold recall

EDIT: I was wrong. It's a TSB not a recall/extended warranty. Have you ever complained to the dealer prior to the factory warranty ending?
  16. TheWaterman83

What did you do to your Ram today???

Or are the TRX, Raptor's and my Rebel fake over the road semi's? Really begs to wonder. Maybe I should get an air brake kit and a air horn? lol

    Clunk no-more

Did you get the greaseable Energy Suspension universal ones? I was going to add those with the Suspension Maxx end links/bushings.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Uh oh. Here come the grill light police lol. Looks great. The lack of boards with the bumper and wheels just works on your truck. Beautiful.

What did you do to your Ram today???

And yes, it's different if you put a TRX badge on a regular Rebel. Or an M badge on a non-M BMW. If we're playing that game, putting ID lights on a TRX or a Raptor is like putting a "Peterbilt" badge on or "Mack" Bulldog on the hood lol.

What did you do to your Ram today???

This is interesting. There is a legal reason why the Raptor's and TRX have them: https://www.motortrend.com/news/what-are-raptor-lights/ The 2024 Raptor is 86.6" wide The 2024 TRX is 88" wide The 2019 Ram Rebel is 82.1" wide I don't know if that article is true or not. Either way I could...
