I wouldn’t go in again. Look at this thread, https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/driver-side-creak-inside-video.2601/ you will see where the creak is originating from. Will take you a couple of minutes to eliminate it on your own.
at 32,000 miles, I traded my 2017 Raptor in on a 2019 Ram Limited 2 years ago. Sitting at 40,000 miles on the RAM and not planning on getting rid of it anytime soon. I much prefer the throttle response and smoothness of the tranny in my Ram vs the twin turbo 3.5 in the Raptor. Its more...
Mine sounded like the rocking chair from the footwell. It was a zip tie mounted on top of the frame underneath the cab rubbing on the bottom of the cab. Check out the other post talking about the creaking. You will see what to look for. It’s a 5 minute fix, and it’s almost unbelievable that this...
This is the offending part. Ram mounts this zip tie by pushing it into the top of the frame, and the tail you see sticking up (where they clipped it) rubs on the bottom of the cab. Eventually, the cut tail wears through the paint on the bottom of the cab (as depicted in a photo a couple posts...
My duelers were completely shot...BALD at 22,000 miles. Replaced them with Michelins, truck is rolling up on 40,000 miles and they still look new...Plus the shimmy from the crap tires has been gone for nearly 20,000 miles.
Give a little more time. This year has been crazy on production lines due to Covid. No doubt there are delays in almost everything this year. Add into the mix shipping companies being tasked with delivering massive doses of vaccine, just a bad time of the year to try to get anything.
My 2019 is rolling up on 40,000 miles and have never had any warranty work. It’s a mixed bag on individual owner experiences. Go drive it, look for cracked rear window frame, run through the electrical systems. If all’s good, I doubt there’s any need to worry. It could just be a truck where the...
I took the chance and installed one last year. I forget its even there because its never given me any issues...Only did it because a forum member here bought one, never installed it, and sold it on this site at a reduced price.
I wouldn’t get worked up by that guy. If you look closely, you’ll see nearly all his posts are negative, where he comes across as a jacka$$. Enjoy your truck, and don’t sweat the small stuff.
Not necessarily true, two posts above this one, someone reports the exact same numbers on a 2021 that I got two years ago. And my point was/is, closer to the end of the month will more than likely be better. Thanks for your insight though.
My brake works fine, if it’s set to auto, it will not disengage if you do not put your seatbelt on before coming out of park. Unless you give it a lot of throttle, then it will release, but truck lurches due to the throttle being applied.
sounds to me like your talking about manually releasing...
