I had another iOS 12.2 update to the phone 2 days ago. Now CarPlay works again.
It had not worked at all no matter what I tried for ~~3 weeks.
Now it works every time. No changes to any cables or anything.
That's good news. I was having a hard time finding anything to complain about with the Eagle Touring tires.
A lot of threads about folks trying to peddle them off, nearly new, for other knobbly (probably noisy) standard or oversized AT tires, which isn't part of my normal mission.

I'd like to avoid a ps problem between now and the time the dealer gets around to it.
I'm interested in seeing the details of this "fix". You'd think resolving/checking a "fastener that grounds the battery wasn't secured properly in manufacturing" could be done in a few minutes in your own garage.
If anyone has the repair details, please post. Thanks.
The Putco (and their harness vs the Curt 56584) looks to require an extra wire over the OPT7. While it does not say specifically, I think from the instructions you can figure out it's the constant +12V. It's not a big deal but I am curious why.
I guess +12V is needed for the little...
