Thank you for your time and answers. I did not want to assume anything as the proposition to acquire a truck is a bit expensive in time and money.

Is it possible to modify the sub-box to fit the existing parts in the truck? Maybe cheaper and faster. If you have a Dremel/Dremel-like tool, may, be easily done. Trace the outline on the sub box then take a look to verify it is possible before cutting. The old adage of measure 2x then cut...
Do you have the new truck yet?
I would visit dealers and compare your old truck to a new 2025 truck to see for your self. Most likely well worth the trip.
If you do not have the old truck, visit a dealer that has a used truck of the model range and compare it against your new truck. Bring a...
You have one of the best sources of AlphOBD in the thread. I doubt other users will be of much source of info other than the programmer who lives in Russia, and I'm not sure how to reach him/her for help.

Your truck radio will be programmed for cananda ... it may take dealer wizardry to switch the programming of the radio software to the US standards then, have the latest US software update installed. Open your wallet, and just get over the sticker shock. It will in the long run make your life...
I do not own a 2025
My 2020 Laramie, will fog when the temps are colder outside than inside. As you noted once the heat/defroster kicks in will clear in about a minute or so, takes longer for the ice to melt/scrape so not a big problem to me.

Based on other members' posts/problems:
your ignition switch is failing/bad
your RF hub is failing
key fob batteries weak/failing
some sort of electrical short/draw - you are already working on that solution
Alternator is failing
belts/pulleys need replacement/slipping
Good luck and I hope...
Howdy all,
I have been nosing around on the RAM Truck site and on a few dealer sites.
I have seen a few trucks that have caught my eye, but not my wallet...My current truck still serves me well and it all works as far as buttons, and switches so, no need to acquire a new truck/loan. Just that...
To add weight to the bed, use bags of dirt, mulch, sand, gravel, or whatever can be easily obtained from a hardware store. The bags of goods can easily removed and used around the house after winter.
Use the auto 4wd setting in the transfer case.
Drive slower than normal.
Do not brake hard ...
What is the "Captain Tollys" I am in the danger zone for both the rear window and the third brake light failures. I am seeking a self-repair option with a proactive approach. I will have to wait for spring but I am seeking parts and solutions for the warmer weather ahead.
Thanks for the help...
What year/model of truck do you have?
Some of the features are not standard on some of the various models. I have a 2020 Laramie my HVAC/heated seates/heated wheel will turn on at about 40 degrees or so. In the summer the AC and cooling seat will turn on. This is only for the driver's seat...
I have a 20. There is an Icon on my gauge cluster when the lights are on. I turned on the tailgate ajar warning and now the bed lights come on when I open a cab door, manually turn on the back loading lights, and when I open my tailgate. I like that, when I do not want the bed lights I just...
Man, those pictures are intimidating at the least. I have fundamental mechanical skills, but my tool selection out-strips my knowledge. All I can say is wow. There is no way I could/would tackle that job. My hat is off to your skills. Good luck in solving your electrical issues, as they are...
As noted above you will need a security gateway bypass cable and it will need to be installed. Once installed, you will connect your MX+ to the OBD II port on the end of the security bypass cable.
The security gateway is preventing you from writing/making changes to the various modules you are...
I am just seeing this message. You are correct; my driver-side lower dash matches the picture previously posted. I was thinking of the panel that I take out when I am using the programming cable.

The v 40.1 is for the UC 4 on the 12 inch screen not any other radio or UC Version. The UC version in 22 and above is the UC v 5, so there will be different version numbers for those UC 5 systems.
