The stock pan style gasket goes around the bolt holes sealing it once the bolts are tightened. I didn’t use these flange collars. I suppose it wouldn’t hurt and would just take up the difference between the bolt and hole basically just a spacer. You should be able to just knock them out and back...
Whats a flange collar? Im assuming maybe a washer… either way you just remove the old bolts and reuse them there’s nothing to press out.

Yep gotta be the brand of tint. No issues from me w/ multiple pairs of prescription polarized sunglasses and safety glasses here.

Ive seen a few to dark myself mostly on those stupid Carolina squatted, rims sticking out 2 ft outside the fender trucks if that tells you anything lol. I wouldn’t mind a tad bit darker if I have to ever redo it.

Could be also the brand of tint, some are better than others when it comes to windshield tint. Some will look wavy and others have the rainbow hue color. I think at the time I went off the shops recommendation and used Xpels brand.

It’s fine long as you’re mindful of not going to dark.. for example I have 70% helps cut down headlight glare and keeps the interior cooler. 70% is virtually clear.. you wouldn’t be able to tell it was tinted unless I pointed it and keeps me from having to even bother using a windshield shade...
Yep aka a great bs’er and not a tech. Speak with the tech thats doing the work. There’s a diagnostic procedure for just about everything, not just a see flashing light assume it’s this or that and start throwing parts at it meanwhile charging the customer more and more. We wonder why service...
Replacing the battery wouldn’t have been a big deal to me especially if its the original or more then a few years old. I would have an issue with the ridiculous diagnose fee and then them just trying to throw unrelated parts at it… you pretty much did the diagnoses yourself letting then know...
Who’s ever doing the diagnose is clueless, it’s probably the BCM located underneath the dash. As you guessed it.. probably got hit with some water during the tint process. Has nothing to do with the sensors.. tint unless its dark shouldn’t effect what so ever. Very common potential issue and...
More off road capable… might wanna ditch the 22’s.
Maybe Vice Design has something but if you’re going through all that you might as well ditch the stock fog lights for something better it’s not going to save you any noticeable weight.

So without me going back… have you actually had an issue with the leds on either your headlights or taillights on your Ram that warrants the big fuss? Im not talking about your Tacoma.

Yep let insurance fix it the right way. If they jack up your rates after… it’s time to shop a new Insurance company. I think they do it knowing a lot of people would just accept the increase and keep paying it rather than change whats probably has been working for them.

Just the wrong time of the season to really troubleshoot poor MPG, you have the elements going against you. Wait till spring time when the weather is nice and you’re back on regular fuel and go from there. Meanwhile enjoy your new truck don’t overthink it.
