Might wanna research Cybertrucks issues before sticking your wife in that thing. In the event of an accident things can go wrong quickly.

I thought mine could be gummed up injector related when it originally happened shortly after manifold replacement my tank had been sitting low for a while. I ran the code P219a and misfire I think on bank 1. No noticeable driving difference other than the CEL turned on. I tighten the two bolts...
Both but a day after each other and didn’t drive it far enough to notice anything. I haven’t noticed anything different with the idle but ill keep a closer eye on it next time it pops up.

Good question
To add to it.. I also got that code after I fixed the manifold issues it’ll turn on for a few hundred miles then go off then reappear again eventually. Haven’t had time to really dig into it and figure out what could be causing it.

Film… no
But you may be able to ceramic coat the windshield using a glass coating.. no clue if it’ll help just with chips in general

Nope didn’t even bother trying to source one. I just went with the tried and true method and went the marine rubber gasket route.. no issues.

Could be the manifold heat shield making the metal noise which means.. broken bolt. You’ll be better off jacking up the front, removing the wheel and fender liner and having a better look.

There’s your parts list. Figure out what you’re missing then contact Realtruck (they own Bakflip now).

No performance difference yes you can just do one side and save the other for when the time comes.
Thats how I figured out mines was cracked.. fumes in the inside. Removed passenger heat shield and bam… luckily I already had the BD headers sitting on the shelf months prior figuring I was gonna...
IIRC from my 4th gen days AFE shorties were the only ones that didn’t eventually crack like the other shorty options but if I’m paying spending that much I might be even more tempted to spend a bit more and just go longtubes and have performance gains..
Thats why BD manifold are priced right. I...
I would buy the pair and just replace the problematic side and wait and replace the other when the time comes.. I say when because the other side will eventually crack and have the same fate. I will also check the opposite side to make sure it isn’t also cracked during the installation.

2 pieces of 4x4 stacked on top of each other then place a bottle jack on top of that to jack the trans up
In the rear
