The VW DI engines are terrible for carbon buildup, but some designs are better than others. My wife's Honda V6 is DI and I just did the timing belt service on it. Looked at the intake valves and was shocked at the lack of buildup. Haven't run a catch can on it for it's entire life so far.

My suggestion when you're buying a $50k+ V8 truck is not to worry about MPGs and get something that suits your needs the best. So to reiterate what I said above, if you tow at all you'll be much happier with the 3.92.

Other than the BBMC customer support issue this all sounds like user error. I have none of these problems between my two DR750x units. Sandisc works fine in both of my cameras as well. Also, I've reformatted an SD card after using it for a Blackvue, works fine.

Also, the etorque components should be covered under the 8 year emissions warranty. The part failed due to a defect elsewhere in the truck, nothing should be coming out of pocket IMO.

Yea my dealer actually beat the Ziegler quote. They get bonuses for overall warranties sold, and it's basically no work on their part.
I paid cash for the warranty, didn't care to worry about financing it.
