Not everything is a conspiracy, and the 2022 warranty booklet can be found online through official sources in about 30 seconds. This is more likely a case of you trying to find anything to get out of a deal.
There are too many variables here to give any sort of sure answer. How much heavier is the 2022? Same engine? Same rear gear? Different years tune the MDS system differently? Do you have tow/haul on?
Any time I've been above 6400 feet I'm on a mountain so the MDS only kicks on when going...
So your proof is an entire 33 recalled trucks, that were recalled due to incorrect assembly/repair (a loose battery terminal connection, improper torque) by an untrained individual...none of which actually caught fire?

Yea unfortunately they explicitly call out spark plugs as only being covered under the 2 year / 24k miles emissions warranty.
However, the MOPAR extended warranty does call out coils as covered. You may want them to re-evaluate their position.
It's almost as if they forget there's almost always extra damage that can't be seen from the outside. This sounds 100% to be an issue with Progressive not wanting to pay the extra $$$ for a harness.
I know what you're saying, but lets not let insurance off the hook here. They will tell you till they are blue in the face something isn't covered until you take them to court, only to finally admit it is covered.
