Will it run noticeably different? No
Will it reduce fuel efficiency? Yes
Price difference between E10 and E15 varies by region. If you can get it $0.68/g cheaper then that would absolutely offset the lower mpg.
Around here (Chicago area) E15 is only $0.05/g cheaper
5.7L had a respectable 20,300 lbs GCWR for its size
I don’t see how they would use an aluminum 3.0L engine block though. Every HD engine for Ram/GM/Ford uses an iron block
~4,000 miles on this setup so far. Weight is as expected.
Shifting some stuff from my truck bed to the camper and leaving the generator at home did the trick.
My top 3 items for Ram
1) 5.7L without stop/start
2) air suspension
3) interior quality, size & comfort
6.2L Denali had a lot going against it: 24-gallon gas tank, DI and ESS.
