I installed the 360 tow mirrors so they don't come with the dimming feature. The rearview auto-dimming does function with the CSM button, however, so I'd assume both would work with the new BCM.
I was finally able to get a dealer to program a 21 BCM for me about 3 weeks back. Went with a 21 because I wasn't sure if a 22 would cause any faults since I don't have UC5. The only way I could get it done was to drop it in the passenger seat and just tell them I needed a spare programmed, not...
I had two clucks with parts you've mentioned.
My front maxx links kept loosening up at the sway bar side even when torqued to spec. Blue loctite and they've been good 1000 miles or so.
I had an annoying clunk I couldn't find in the rear. It was my core 4x4 sway bar links. Torqed to spec and...
Suma performance is near the end of their first run of convex replacement mirrors for the main glass. No clue if they'll do another batch. I've been waiting on mine since last year. If they ever hit the door they seem like a great option to get out of moose mode. A few have recieved theirs so...
I've had the jba on mine for a bit over a year. Greased them maybe 3 times while I was in there for other stuff. I use marine grease and they've never really seemed to need the grease, it's more for me and to push out any road grime. They've been a great uca for me. Highly recommended. Only...
I need to update mine, it's been 6 months or so, but yes. They've added a ton of PIDs since I first installed mine. I'm not one that uses every single aspect of it so I'd wait for someone who experiments more to chime in as well. I'm sure I under utilize the tool. They also have an official...
I coated them in both wd40 and then tried pb blaster. I did find this when I pulled them apart. It appears that( perhaps with the replacement eibach springs) they were digging into the collar while turning. I'm replacing the collars anyway the next time it's apart, still, wouldn't think it would...
After a grueling day(the compressor slip had ****eyed the retaining ring. Had to find a shop with same day turn around to compress it and reset) here's where I've landed.
My preload has been affected by the springs, contrary to what I was told by Accutune. I can't think of any other reason...
Instructions say to remove and use a spring compressor. That makes for a rough time actually dialing in the ride height you want when you have to remove everything 10 times and adjust it.
People have managed to adjust them on the truck, but it looks like I'm not in that fortunate group.
Bds was/is still on my list, I'm just always reluctant to cut factory mounts. My understanding is their 3" Rebel kit uses these same shocks anyway, and I've already lifted my rear with supporting mods. No idea if they'll sell me just the additional front end parts solo or not.
Figured I'd try...
I have one for that is for my Icon 2.5 setup and it fits, but bent all to heck when using it. So yours was a bear too? Icon was hard, but this one is next level tough.
I may try grabbing the fox one before tearing it all apart again. If I do rip it apart I'll grab a new spring since I took off...
Not a thing. Set to 1.5 on the drivers side and about 1.25 on the passenger. Measuring out to just at 26" center hub to fender flare. Only change is a 550 rate spring instead of the 450 to compensate for the diesel which weighed out to about 3700 front axle weight.
Guess it's coming back apart...
