I would suggest using either the Readylift or Rough Country UCAs with 3” of lift. The ball joint is at a much better angle. As far as the track bar bracket, you’re probably fine without it. Readylift, RC, Fabtech 3” kits all do not use it. You’re rear axle could be sightly off center though. I...
Yeah I have the 3.21s. 37s are definitely a no go. I’ll be running 35s. A lot of the 6” lifted trucks I see have too much empty space in the wheel well with 35s to me. 37s fit much better and I’m not looking to spend 2k to swap out my gears.
Gotcha. Just wanted to make sure I didn't somehow miss something. I'm looking at lifting mine right now and trying to figure out which one to go with. If I could run 37s the 6" kit would be a no brainer. Unfortunately BDS is the only company out with a 4" lift right now and they sell theirs at a...
They should work just fine. You could leave out the preload spacer and set the 5100s to the first or second notch instead. Another option would be to use the offroad package front springs instead of the preload.
The offroad package does have different shocks/struts than the standard suspension. I don't know how heavy duty they are, but they are different. The Rebel only has a 1" lift over a standard non Rebel/non offroad package truck as well. Both of these lifts come way of using taller springs in both...
They say it won't work if you are installing the full kit along with the offroad package or the Rebel. It would be a 4.5" lift without a differential drop. CV angles will be terrible and you would blow them out very quickly. Steering angle would be terrible as well. Using the offroad package...
This lift would add 2” to the rear and 4” up front to a Rebel or a truck with the off-road package. The rear replaced the springs. The front uses the stock strut assembly with a 4” spacer.
It's personal preference. I installed the Readylift leveling kit with UCAs. My logic was that Mopar provides new control arms with their 2" lift kit so it was a good idea to go ahead and spend the money on them when I leveled it. Many people haven't replaced their control arms and have yet to...
Shouldn't be. I've had the Readylift top hat on for about 20,000 miles now and zero issues. Best bet is there is probably something loose not tightened all the way. Sway bar is the most likely culprit. One of the end links is probably loose. Could also be the links for the steering. I assume...
Positive. The offroad package lift does come from the springs in the front and back. The Mopar lift uses the springs that come on the truck. In the rear it uses a 2" spacer to add the lift. In the front the lift is achieved by the new Fox shocks that have a higher spring perch.
-18 might buy you just enough to clear it. Each truck is slightly different as well. Others have not rubbed with the same setup. Either way, all that would be required is heating up the plastic liner with a heat gun and pushing it out. No cutting required.
Cv angles are nearly flat. Rides good. I’ve got a Readylift top hat spacer and control arms. It didn’t change the ride at all. The increased stiffness only came after I installed the new tires.
I do have a very slight rub in the front of the front wheel wells. When in full lock over bumps or in...
