I work on these and see the mess they put out, what is on here is a small sample of really happens. Stellantis/Mopar is a joke for QC on new model launches. The 200 had a stop delivery at launch because of water intrusion in the door handles. They couldn't even get them to the lot without a stop...
The average consumer is not on a forum or trying to modify their truck either. So.... yes nothing has changed other than the engine and it's harder for the consumer to modify their trucks.
I wonder if they would cover the one on my 2014 I just replaced? I have not seen any documentation on untreated pans being used. I have seen a lot of Hemi oil pans.
Where did I say the that? I specifically said "engine". But yes I don't think it's complicated. Programming isn't part of the engine. Overhead cams, have been around a long time.
