Well, then they'll be wasting their time (and costing me a new window). Because all those devices are actually installed in my truck.
Maybe I could just put up this single sticker:
I think I have the best solution. I hate stickers, so I keep my truck sticker-free. But when I park somewhere sketchy and want to provide a visual deterrent, I stick these in my windows (from the inside). They're just applied to a clear piece of plastic (cut from a spiral binder cover)...
FWIW, the Retrax is also likely causing the tailgate to not open when you hit the button. I have a Retrax as well, and mine won’t fall open without a little help. But it doesn’t really bother me - it’s more trouble than it’s worth to find the fob in my pocket and hit the tailgate button. I just...
28 years for me - all in concrete. Seen my share of pours you can still stick your boot in after 24 hours. Almost always a screw-up at the batch plant (last one was a few months ago - they loaded the cement silo with blast furnace slag on accident - oops). That was a $65k demo job / replacement.
I don’t disagree. Just seems like a possibility. Imagine you’re a SS sniper on the roof and you see a guy across the field coming onto the roof with a sniper rifle. First thought is probably, “hey did we put a guy over there too?”
I know I wouldn’t shoot first and ask if it was an ally later...
Speaking of triggers, my finger is on the “Lock Thread” trigger right now. Just trying to decide whether all these snipers are on the same team or not.
Did it occur to anyone that perhaps the SS sniper was trying to determine if it was another SS sniper before he pulled the trigger? As soon as the shots were fired, it’s clear. But before that?
What the heck is a soft concrete wall? If it’s concrete, it’s definitely not soft. And If it’s soft, it’s definitely not concrete. :D
Unless they accidentally added slag instead of cement, then it’s definitely soft. And it will cost a lot of money to remove. Ask me how I know…
I’m not responding to anything in particular, but just want to make sure everyone keeps something in mind.
The electronic surveillance systems at NSA, CIA, FBI, Secret Service, and everywhere else are surely straining the power grid right now.
So keep all comments on the up-and-up. This is a...
Some say the gas tank causes it.
I can’t speak for regular DT models, but Ram addressed it a few years ago on the TRX by installing slightly stiffer springs on the left side.
That's why I was asking if the build sheet listed it. Generally, that would indicate if the truck "should have it, but it doesn't work" or if it just wasn't installed to begin with. To complicate matters, many trucks (mine included) have the hardware already, but just needs to be enabled with...
Don't use a third party to look up the Window Sticker - go straight to the Ram site. Replace YOURVINHERE with your actual VIN.
