What did you do to your Ram today???

It was a justified moment to properly describe the current situation........lol

    Air conditioning performance

I am no expert, but the condensation dripping from the evaporator on a humid day (puddle of water under truck that comes out of drain tube) could freeze and build up a bunch of ice and eventually plug up air movement. Remember older freezers and dorm fridges that form a block of ice on coils...

    I towed 11,500 pounds with my 3.21

These half tons have capabilities that 3/4 tons use to have. My old truck is a 2004 Dodge Cummins 2500 4x4 quad cab Laramie trim, 6' bed with every possible option (mint only 63,000 miles!) It is a heavy beast and its tow rating is 13,050 lbs and payload 2140 lbs. (from internet data, didn't...

    Wax? Detail Polish?

So Topcoat F11 seems like they don't offer much of a customer money back guarantee whereas The Last Coat offers a 365 day guarantee. And if Topcoat F11 blocks out negative comments, sounds like its all about selling and making money and not happy customers. hmmmmmm. Has anyone tried out The...

What did you do to your Ram today???

    Air conditioning performance

If you decide to add coolant valve in heater core supply line like KcRay (our HERO....parade for him soon) to bandaid fix your warm AC vent temps, allow some coolant flow so evaporator doesn't freeze up in humid weather as some heat is needed and you may want some on cool mornings...

    Dealership Frustrations

I would print out TSBs etc and have thermometer handy (probe type like barbecue cooking meat) and be prepared if they don't deliver results. If ac vent temps are too warm, go find a fat manager in a suit and request he drive truck on hot day while you show him thermometer readings from drivers...

    Dealership Frustrations

True, but its like being married. Sometimes you just do what you have to to get through life. lmao :ROFLMAO: Just roll your eyes and go with the flow............

    Air conditioning Hack

Anyone that adds valve should think about possibly freezing up evaporator as mentioned. Reduce coolant flow but don't 100% stop flow. Part of design is that some heat supply is needed to keep everything working.

    Air conditioning performance

If the rest of us had your temps, we would be happy campers! The drivers side vent is 5 degrees warmer due to heat "leaking" from heater core and warming up the chilled air, probably from a mechanical blending door that isn't sealing when no heat is wanted.. Yours is probably the way the...

    Air conditioning performance

The drivers side center vent tends to be 8-10 degrees warmer than the passengers center vent. Many members seeing 58-60 degrees for driver and like 46-48 out of passenger center vent. As outside ambient temp rises the vent temps will rise some. If you shut off the heater core coolant supply...

Credit card that can fill 33 gallons in one transaction?

If you request to pay inside instead of at pump, I have had stations go beyond $100 limit. Ask next time.

    Dealership Frustrations

AC temps are warm because of a blend door issue allowing hot heater core to dilute the cold air. Member KcRay installed a $15 valve on heater hose from water pump to heater core. His dash vents are now delivering under 40 degree air!!! He has a background in semi big rigs and that is common...

    Air conditioning performance

There is TSB 24-001-19 that applies to truck builds prior to 09-20-18. I would point out drivers vent warmer than passenger side. Would be best if you had a thermometer to prove it. Even a digital kitchen probe thermometer for meat will work. Here is TSB attached as well as checkout procedure....

    Air conditioning Hack

TSB 24-001-19 from early pages of this thread that applies to trucks built prior to 09-20-18. I also attached a general AC checkout procedure for all 19 Ram trucks. If you want cold AC, put a valve on heater core supply line. The cold air is being warmed from hot heater core and blend door...

    Air conditioning performance

You are absolutely right!!! This temporary band aid will at least get us through the summer until a proper fix is launched as a TSB. I am basically stirring the pot and getting attention from RamCares and TFLtruck as well as all the members here. Ram has built such a cool truck that they have...

    A/C Performance

Here are more options I found in case you want to control coolant valve by cable linkage or a way cool Vintage Air $88 unit that electronically controls motorized valve incrementally from a volume control type potentiometer knob that you could hide inside glove box!!! See pics.....
