That was probably a sticky lifter. The Seafoam cleans it out. Even safer method, because Seafoam is just a solvent, add a quart of type f trans fluid. It's still oil, but has very high detergent additives.
I flew down to Houston, where they picked me up, and took me to the dealership. I drove 1,400 miles home. Take a Friday off work, and take 2 days to drive home. Enjoy the new truck.
It may not be that bad, if you want to install yourself, it's not that hard. A friend of mine just bought a used Ford Expedition, that the only thing wrong, was driver's seat was torn. Google searched, and found exact factory leather seat cover, bottom only, for $50. I think they had full sets...
If you are in Florida, go to Mark Dodge, in Lake Charles, Lousiana. Order there for big discounts. If you are in northern Florida, you might be within their 250 mile radius for free delivery. It was worth it for me, to fly to Houston, where they picked me up, to take delivery, and drive back to...
I swear I saw an aftermarket system for trailer tire pressure. Possibly on etrailer.com, I get their emails all the time, because I bought trailer tires there before.
May be a non serviced item. They don't make everything available for replacement. I'm running in to that problem, with something on my 24. I have the Bed Utility Group, and it includes a bed divider. It is supposed to have a key cylinder. The cylinder is missing in mine. I went to the dealer...
No, it doesn't. But it doesn't say what it will do either. However, it does say don't do it. It MAY be that it fries modules. Computers are very sensitive to electric current.
It says right in the extended warranty description, does not cover glass or soft parts. 600 sounds like a good price. I believe they have to pull entire dash, to remove the pad.
I took mine in to the dealer, and knew there was no fix, but had them write it anyway. Just as I arrived, my truck started an OTA update, so I couldn't even show the write up. After picking up the truck, 3 of the 4 were working. Then they stopped. Then they all worked. Then they stopped. Now no...
You can try, but don't hold your breath. It's a common issue, so they may, but more likely, they will say warranty expired. They really aren't that expensive, if they say no, and you are mechanical. A few people replaced them themselves.
They should. The mold is due to the leak. I bought a Cadillac ElDorado new in 2001. They had a run of leaky body seam in the trunk. After a couple months driving, I lifted the spare cover, and it had water in the well, and mold. They replaced EVERYTHING not metal, behind the front seats. Back...
It's right in your vehicle description. You drive a limited. 1,000 pounds heavier than test vehicle. High drag tires. Pod lights, adding drag. Leveled truck. Aftermarket exhaust. I forget what else is in the description, but you have modded the truck, and every one can effect mileage.
It does not open the intake valve longer. The valves open and close by the grind of the cam. VVT only change the timing of the cams. What changes is lifters that drop out and come on. That's different than VVT.
Did you follow jumping procedure properly? If you hooked up cables to battery, instead of the proper way, explained in the manual, you could have fried a module. They also have to test the battery properly. Many people said their battery tested good, to find out later it was bad.
