Looking for advice on two options - sunroof and e-Torque

I have a loaded Rebel I custom ordered in April 2018. I had every possible option available at that time except etorque, ram box, and engine block heater. I would choose the moonroof over the etorque as it only makes sense if you are in stop and go traffic a lot. (Also some reliability...

    Painting tow hooks?

I used the flame red with PR4 code that matches truck. There are vinyl overlays available that go over R-A-M letters. WWW.ReflectiveConcepts.com has them in most any color, a regular red similar to PR4 flame red and an orange red like GMC colors grill letters. . 5 minutes to install. Well...

    Painting tow hooks?

Duplicolor makes rattle cans in paint code matching colors. I scuffed tow hooks up with scotch brite pad, then primed with Duplicolor primer, then 2+ coats of color. Let dry well for a couple of days and then reinstall.

Ford F-250 Totaled after rear-ending my Rebel

There is a ton of plumbing under that area the box covers! Remember back when a few wires, a brake line, and an emergency brake cable was all there was back there. Of course the gas tank was inside the cab where it is nice and safe......lol.....and driver can keep an eye on it. What can...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Installed the latest design (-AF) Mopar bedstep on my Rebel with Magnaflow Catback exhaust. Added a 3/16" thick washer under only the bottom bolt (between bracket and frame) to add clearance between step and the long 5" diameter exhaust tip. Fits perfect and only bumps exhaust if you let it...

    Air conditioning Hack

Excellent data! Thanks for great documentation. A 9 degree drop in driver center vent is significant! Should make a big improvement on cooling ability on hot day. (y)

    Air conditioning Hack

Fair response...lol. ("Tough crowd" .....like Rodney Dangerfield use to say) We have had a cool summer so far in Portland, Oregon so I have been dragging my feet as there are now 3 recalls due on my truck and squeaky console lid. (airbag, steering ground, etc) Thinking I should get it to...

    Air conditioning Hack

And for those of you that notice that valve is 3/4" Pex ball valve, it is actually a perfect fit for 5/8" ID heater hose. Apparently PEX hose goes by OD dimensions so 3/4" is outside measurement of PEX. Here is my plan to actually use 2 valves so I have complete bypass control of heater...
