Yes. The module is what’s actually screwed in. Everything else is clipped in. Obviously I can’t guarantee that you have the same screw loose, but it seems awful interesting.

I have been considering doing the same thing. Some kind of in-line volume attenuation for the existing sub. Have you found an L pad that has a high enough wattage rating?
