I’ve had my trans updated twice. The first was a huge improvement, since it downshifted somewhat harsh etc. a few weeks ago I went in for the rear brakes and had them check for updates. There was a trans and PCM update. After, mine even shifted better, so I would have them check again.
I run 45, they are a higher load rating and stiffer sidewall vs the stock tires. They aren’t going to be quite as smooth as the flimsy stock highway tire, but are good for how aggressive they are.
There is a TSB for the rear brakes to fix the noise you describe. Mine was done and it is fixed. Used to groan like crazy when cold or wet, mainly in reverse.
I have the same tires. Superior traction. They are a little noisier at speeds around 27-37 mph, after that very quiet. Snow and wet traction is awesome.
I don’t know if you can turn it off, but mine is on. When I first got My 19 I got hit with a huge side wind going 70 it actually activated the ABS like it’s designed, straightened the trailer out good. It’s the first time I’ve ever had it happen even with my 13’. Same trailer. Just drive it and...
I’ve used the Andersen sway control hitch for 13000 miles of towing on my gen 4 and 5th gen now. With the OEM function turned on. Works fine. I tow 22FT enclosed trailer. No need to worry.
