No need in all that. It's a check box in the utility software that the manual tells you to download. Anyone can enable Light Show while driving.
I played around with creating a Custom Light show that turned on every white light on the front of the truck. No flashing. I was hoping for more...
No. Fogs+High Beams works great as does the Light Shows. See my tip a few post back on setting up the Cruise Resume button as a single press to activate a Tazer Live Function. You can set the Res button to turn on/off a light show with a single press.
Who knows? Most people don't drift in pickups. The E-Locker kicks off automatically around 20 mph so it may not work for your purposes.
Whatever you choose, make sure you take pics and videos of before and after you wreck.
Correct. It has been stated in numerous interviews that Etorque assist at low RPM, and regens during shifts by capturing energy as the motor rpms drop. There are various other functions it regens or assist with. Steady state running torque assist is NOT one of them! That would defy physics since...
The traction control uses the brakes independently to keep torque going to the wheel with grip even an open differential axle so there's less need for the Anti-Slip (LSD). The E-Locker is more effective when traction is needed most. Ant-Slip may have an advantage on ice but 4-Auto works better...
The point made about peak torque falling off at a low RPM on the BSG servo motor is not accurate. DC Brushless service motors have a rated base speed depending on the design. It's typically 1200 rpm or higher and often 6000 rpm or more. We don't have that info. The BSG motor is capable of...
I've found that setting up an assignable hotkey for Cameras to the "Res" button works well with Nav in Motion.. Hold down the RIGHT arrow and press the Res button. Keep tapping the Res button until you see the Camera option in the screen then release the Left button. Now your Res button calls...
Live Functions work. You just can't reliably see what you're doing. The dedicated button functions like Left+Res (fast idle), Left+Set+ (Front Brake Line Lock) and Left+Set- (All Brake Lock) work fine. Assigning a Live Function to the Res button works too. 0-30 and 0-60 timers work if you can...
Don't set up Center as Audio if you want Center to be Speedo. It can't be both. Return whatever you changed back the way it was. Just use the up/down to go to Audio page to see what tune you are in.
I use the following so far:
• Nav in motion
• Fog Dropout - Off
• Cameras View programmed to Cruise Resume button for quick access
•0-60 Timer
•Light Show
I'm going to create a custom light show that keeps the headlights and side mirror lights on steady if possible. It'll serve as a way to...
Mine calculates to empty and when I fill it up at empty it takes 28 to 29 not 33 gallons. That means there is 4-5 gallons left in the tank. 13.3 " 28 = 372. If you are getting 440 on 28 gallons then that's 15.7 mpg. Something isnt right. Nearly everyone is reporting that driving to empty leaves...
As long as we get in the habit of refueling before 0 range (like we all do) then the extra 4-5 gallons is a 60 to 75 mile bonus. I have no problem with that. Rural drivers can have issues finding an open station late at night and the extra range might help in an emergency.
I always park UPHILL when I can. I've seen a runaway cart go hundreds of feet.
I have a Viofo A129 Dual dashcam. It has a parking mode. Highly rated and under $200.
Today my instantanious mpg was holding around 24 to 27 when I followed an 18 wheeler while on adaptive cruise set to the 3rd to closest distance at 78mph. He was running 75 mph. Normally I'd be getting 16-17 mpg.
That demonstrates how much wind resistance affects mpg!
