take it from me the 6.2 gets horrible Gas milage not worth the power trade off between the 2. the 5.3 is a solid engine even with the lifter issues which I never had with the 3 different ones I had in the past. and it gets great fuel milage for what it is. I got 20 mpg with the 2021 I just got...
I have an HO in my limited and so far its been solid with no issues. I really like the engine to be honest. and all I have had for years has been chevy v-8s.
the one drawback I am not fond of is the 91 octane or above requirement. but other than that, it's a fun engine to run.
guys watch your ram box body gaps. our office girl just took delivery of a 2025 Laramie level 2 and the ram boxes on both sides have horrible body gap issues.
I told her to take it back and have them fix them. still glad I opted out of those and went with the long bed on my Limited.
well here is my update on the buggy software,
I think what happened to me may have been related to being logged into my profile in the truck possibly,
I ended up resetting the screen back to factory defaults last week and so far, it's mostly cleared up all the issues now. the only thing I still...
I haven’t had any engine problems. Knock on wood. I’m getting about the same milage as you are with mine maybe a little worse as I have the 3:92 rear end but the outer says 15.5 to 15.7 avg. and in running 93 octane. I love my truck though.
thanks, it would have been helpful if the truck had an actual owners manual in it that covered how this stuff works. the quick sheet is about useless. and the dealers don't know how any of this new stuff works.
you can do this in a chevy right in the vehichle user settings in the radio. simple on or off for seat and wheel heat on auto start and the same for vented. so easy in a Gm and really miss this in my 25 ram.
dont load it !! I have had nothing but bugs since on my 25 limited. others have reported issues as well. 1 big one is it messes up the correct profile loading when you start the truck for the fob you have. when manually switched to correct profile the following can happen.
the screen gets...
I am starting to wonder this same thing. my 25 ram since the update seems to only not load my profile when the trucks in the garage next to the wife's Buick. although she keeps my extra fob in her purse she walked right by my truck after she came home last night from her dads. I don't really...
My profiles are doing just the opposite since the update. One day it loads profile 2 which I never set up. The next day it loads my profile that Inset up with my fob. All situations I have the same fob in my pocket. Agitating as heck!!! Wish it had never updated.
Here is an update on mine.
1 : bad steering wheel fit and finish. The leather wrap was a mess and you could feel wires undernieth it. It also had bubbling.
Update. Dealer has replaced steering wheel.
2 : interior ambient air sensor made a lot of noise. Update : dealer replaced
