I went with a filter relocation kit and the Mobil 1 209A filter. After changing my oil once with the ridiculous set up that Mopar has, I decided to move my oil filter. Did the same thing on my Dad's truck. Best decision you will make. I would look into it before you climb under there.

Mine does it from time to time too. Have to turn off the cooling seats and start them again. Interested in what the fix might be.

I agree with everyone else, I am new to Ram and missed the bed step on my Ford. The Mopar step works great, tucks in nicely. I was afraid it was going to ugly and take away from the lines of the truck, but it really doesn't.

If you search the forum, there is a fix for this. I used a short piece of wire to fix this. Haven't had a problem since.

Mine came from the sliding back glass. There are some threads on here about it. I fixed mine with a piece of wire I had laying around.

I have never heard of or experienced the boards actually lifting someone up. When I clean my truck I open the door and step on the board and close the door. You feel a little resistance as the step tries to retract but stops and stays in the deployed position so I can clean it. Now when I say...

I think you would have to use diodes to do that so your dome or courtesy lights wouldn't be on all the time.

I think it was put there since lots of people use radar detectors and cameras on the front window. Heck, some people still use GPS!! It makes sense that you don't have to have a cord dangling across the interior of the truck.
