Drive it to work, left windows cracked about an inch behind the visors and sunroof open to vent so it wouldn't be too hot inside when I came out at end of day. I guess sometimes this afternoon a dust storm blew through, so entire inside of the cab is covered in dust. Worse than after my off...
Toyota definitely isn't the end all be all best vehicles. Not sure why people feel the need to mention them anytime reliability is brought up. Regular maintenance, replacing parts before they are totally worn out, thorough washes, .......... But, I guess at that point, it's about how much...
If you take care of your vehicle as well as you take care of your engine it will last well beyond 250k miles. I have a 1999 Dakota R/T with 180k mikes, no rust, but does have paint issues(lack of upkeep by previous owners), and a 2000 Dakota R/T with 170k miles and no rust. Only paint issues...
I went with Liquimoly on my fluid change. Under $200 for the fluid. It's full synthetic and made in Germany just like the Blauparts fluid. $307 for the PPE pan off Amazon for the black one, $287 for the "raw" pan. Next fluid change will be $30 for filter and whatever the price of fluid is at...

The PPE pan does not come with a gasket. You can re-use your factory gasket, which I did or buy a new OEM style gasket. As far as I stalling the pan, you are supposed to remove the metal grommets from the factory pan to use in the PPE pan to prevent over tightening the pan and damaging the...
Buying oil in bulk isn't a good idea. Oil has a shelf life. It's better to buy smaller quantities and use it sooner than having it it around for several years
I use the deutsch connectors for the aftermarket lights in my front and rear bumpers weather tight, and easy to disconnect if needed. Most brand name lights come with that style connector on them already
