Looking for them here too. One benefit is you can put the shackle around the strap loop, then put the shackle on the truck. With the current loops you have to thread the strap around and into the loop and it can get really tight during recovery efforts.
I meant 3500, not 3500k lol. Sorry it was a late post. It still tuns fine but I notice fuel milage and performance going down. Fresh full syn and it goes back up. Trucks are expensive, oil isnt, so 3-4k is all I go before dumping it and its dark when I do.
V6 or hemi? 7500k miles is way too much on a hemi oil change. Mine starts running like **** after 3500k on good oil and my catch can is filled up. I can’t imagine goi g double that.
So there are a couple tailgate related items I need to discuss.
#1) In cold climate, during freezing rain, or if I spray the salt off my truck with temps below freezing (20-30f), my tailgate will not open at all afterwards. It literally freezes shut. I don’t think its the tailgate itself...
Maybe unrelated, but I thought i had some weird popping , banging noises during launch and going over bumps but turned out to be a pipe rolling around the bed. Also last summer thought i had a clunk in The suspension but it turned out to be my hitch step bangin around in the receiver. 😁
Ive been happy with my Mishimoto catch can, it was expensive but high quality and works great. I got it because the kit clears my s&b intake while the engine mounted ones don’t. Empty it out very oil change (3500 miles or so) and there is always 2-4oz of oil/water/slime in it. Catch cans on a...
Its a grade 10.9 bolt i got from autozone in an automotive kit, had it on hand already so in it went. I actually did think about doing the other one but its still solid so im not going to disturb it. Ive fixed too many things that aren’t broken and paid the price. Leaving on a 500 mile trip in a...
So yesterday I started my truck and it seemed way louder than normal. Walking around the outside it seemed exhaust related. Crawled under there today to inspect and sure enough I found a broken flange bolt. Was on the second downstream flange. It was hard to spot because both parts of the bolt...
Well good news gents, I got the theme to stick without a tazerDT running the v18 software. Its only been a couple days but changing it to the rebel theme worked. Ive remote started a few times, and been driving all over and its working! I could never get it to stick for more than a couple hours...
Ive been following this for awhile trying to figure it out. I have a 19 8.4” nav system. My theme has always been reverting since it was new. Recently i bought a security module bypass cable an obd2 bluetooth module and the jscan app. Worked great to change a bunch of settings, set my bigger...
It did clear without modification, but i was able to route the hoses a bit neater and remove a funky angle and about 2” of output hose by turning it slightly. Took about 60 seconds with a step bit to make new holes.
Installed my new dry filter s&b intake and drilled new holes for my catch can to clock it about 60* clockwise so the hoses would clear the intake tube better.
They seemed to be the same all over about $210. I went this route because it is known to clear the cold air intakes (doing that next) where the engine mounted style does not clear them. That being said the mishimoto kit is extremely high quality, everything was packed great, fit great...
