There is more involved, there is some bracing towards the cab that makes the sides stronger. Also the hinges have to be totally different but that I don't know.
1. Volume knob to close to Shift knob
2. Had to install a lip on tailgate so when people open tailgate, they don't scratch the paint. Can't police everybody, so now there is no contact with paint with the lip.
3. Had to do the AC hack, that is just crazy I had to do that to a 55K truck in 2019...
I did not, just scuff and spray. A buddy of mine did some adhesion coat prior to spraying the liner and his doesn't look good as mine. Mine is still perfect but I don't use my truck super hard, if that helps.
It is two strips of adhesive, as long as you measure it perfectly on the tailgate, it takes about 5 minutes. It is like an 1/8 of an inch on each side shorter than the tailgate, so you have to make sure it is the same side to side.

I would but my truck is in the shop getting fix where the uninsured driver hit me. The two days I had it on, it looked great. At 370 though, that is not bad since this when all done cost me like $170.
