There are a couple people now on that thread, so it’s interesting. And while he doesn’t have the “Raised Ride Height” on his build, he does have the ORP and all the other stuff, so that’s strange.
Just hit the dealership after visiting my son. Laramie fender flares effect the measure by .5” because they extend under the fender. All Laramies were 21.5” front and 23.5” rear, big horns were 22” and 24”. None were ORP or North Edition. Not sure how much these trucks will settle in the first...
I will be able to once I get my truck, but a member here put an ORG rear spring in a non-ORG (same style build) and got 1" lift (Hahny). I have confirmed that the ORG front and rear shocks are longer than non-ORG as well.
But keep in mind, they could be different spring rates but still the same...
An addition to this thread discussion would be the recent postings I've been reading where ORP (or is it ORG? lol...) owners are NOT seeing any lift in their trucks over the non-ORP, and apparently measuring appropriately. I myself have never measured (assumed when the build sheet says it and...
Curious, do you have the indicator on your build sheet "Raised Ride Height"? This a link below to an ORP truck, you'll see that on page 9 toward the middle-bottom of the page. Replace the VIN below with yours.

That another interesting find. The rebels always look taller to me but I think that's a combination of the fender style and the fact that the tires are 1" taller with stiffer sidewalls.
Also, I'd be careful comparing to a big horn as they don't have the fender flare that the laramie does, and IIRC the fender flare wraps down around the lip a little and comes down a bit inside the fender lip. Doesn't necessarily mean you're not still correct since you also compared to stock...
Are you able to get your part numbers? Rear is really easy to see. Shock is label (usually green outline label for Off road), spring has a tag hanging off of one of the coils.
The ORG shocks in the rear are different part numbers for air and non-air trucks - for instance, the part number for the rear of air equipped ORG is 68262593AC ( They might be even taller/longer than normal ORG because they have to support even more travel). However, the front part numbers look...
Have you noticed if it has gotten worse? It seems to have gotten really bad really quick (over a few days, right?), I would think you'd notice additional wear very quickly.
Factory non-ORP is listed as "HD or Heavy Duty" - all the trucks get at least "heavy duty". The ORP get's "Extra" HD or "Extra Heavy Duty" - the "extra" is the key.
Forgot to point out, on the trucks I was under over the weekend (checking out part numbers), all of them had some type of cant to the dust cover (most of them had the dust cover touching the strut on the inboard side) just like yours, so that's a factory condition, ORP and non-ORP. It's possible...
Yeah, wish they would update their website on their 2" lift with UCAs where they still say that it "works for the Rebel", but then also say "Not for factory off-road package" and have the same 22" measurement as they do for their 3.5" lift (shouldn't it be 23.5"). Their 2" lift with UCAs kit...
Unfortunately my truck isn't here yet. I have some 285/55R22s waiting to go on (34.3"), and have a cheap 20" wheel I got for the spare area with the intent of having a matching height spare. I have access to get a really cheap used 275/65R20 tire, but I don't know if a 34" spare will fit under...
I don't think I've ever seen a 1.5" top-hat spacer. Just by looking at the fitment of the 2" top-hats (see pic below of RL 2"), the stock strut mount's studs are almost even with the mounting plane of the top-hat spacer - with a thinner top-hat that would produce only 1.5" lift, those bolts...
