Smoothness is very subjective. You should test drive both. I did and the air ride was a must have.
Older gens have had issues in cold weather but many have not so hard to say.
I also purchased Mopar lifetime maximum care warranty for added protection
Total added height is 2” over non air...
Mine was built after the vin range as well but the dealer did the flash anyway. Haven't had the issue since then. But it took them over 2 hours, not sure why.

I was quoted $2,450 for $200 deductible lifetime. This was before the recent price increase so not sure what he charges now. He owns a dealership in Kansas.
Also search for Ziegler. Others have used him as well.
So weird.
I plugged in the usb c cord in my iPhone before starting the engine.
After starting the engine, my phone intermittently vibrates. Then CarPlay comes on.
All good. For now lol.
Anyone able to find a fix?
Mine just went out lol. So crazy. The phone charges on the usb c port. Just no car play. Tried turning off blue tooth and switching cords.
Heat gun and fishing line.
The Laramie emblem is made of metal and has sharp edges so take your time.
Peeled off the remaining adhesive by hand by gripping a corner and pulling up and away at a 30 degree angle. Residue can be removed with goo gone.
On eBay send a message to Avondaleautomotive
Seller is a dealer in AZ but their prices are way cheaper than local dealers including shipping. Very responsive and ships fast.
The yellow arrow points to the nub on the fender bracket that locks the fascia tab in place.
You can see along the bracket that there are no rivets or screws. Just plastic nubs that lock into the tabs on the fascia.
The rivets and clips that you saw are what mounts the bracket to the fender.
The yellow circled tab is on pretty tight. Need to twist and wiggle a little and pull away from the fender. Takes a some gorilla muscling though. Just try not to make the bracket mounted to the fender twist too much since that is held on to the fender by the rivets and clips that you see...
There are only tabs holding the fascia in. I'll post a pic of the one that is the issue. Once this once is released, the others come out easily. This first one takes some twisting and pulling to where you think it's gonna break.
I actually broke the driver side (bracket on the fender side)...
