You could make it part of the deal where the dealer swaps out the oem hood for the sport hood before you take delivery. Doesn't have to be a configured option.
But it could also depend on availability of the parts, especially the hood bezels which have been on backorder from time to time.

Good idea not to touch it. More folks also have interior cameras. But would have been funny if you left a note, and the owner joined this forum and posts a video of you leaving a note LOL
The nice thing about this kit is the front spacer has a channel in the center to allow mud and debris to flow out and not get trapped and submerge the air fitting in mud/debris.
Hopefully the other manufacturers will do something similar.
Screw looks clean so i would guess that it fell behind the dash during assembly and could not be retrieved. Then over time the screw dislodged itself and fell out.
I had this happen once.
Before starting the engine, I connected my iPhone to the usb c. Then started the engine. The phone buzzed a few times and then CarPlay connected.
If you can satisfy your must haves with the Bighorn then go for that. You’ll have some pocket money for mods lol.
