I bought my fully loaded laramie with air suspension last February for 60K brand new. I'm glad I did because the prices are crazy for trucks with fewer options due to the shortage. I guess it is what it is.
The 2021 may have a few more bugs worked out than the 2020. I like flame red but not...
The AWE 0fg has the best fitment and the tips are better. I came from the Borla ATAK and although I smiled ear to ear every time I floored it, it was just too loud ALL THE TIME. AWE is loud when you floor it and quiet when cruising.
isn't it just the MOPAR exhaust? People on this forum say borla made it...not sure if that's true. I haven't heard any complaints with that system. I just thought it was a little pricey considering it didn't come with tips. You either buy the upgraded 5" tips or use your existing factory tips.
I only had it on for a few months but never noticed the sound subside at all. I also had the borla resonator and it calmed it a little bit in the cab but the noise (not drone) was rather annoying on the highway. I felt bad for the neighborhood when dropping my daughter off at school early in...
My ATAK fit pretty well up until the tailpipes. Borla needs to modify the tailpipes in a way to fit like the stock pipes with the ball flange on the end. I ended up selling mine for the AWE which adds a Y-pipe after the muffler, and separate pieces for the tailpipes, plus the tips themselves...
It's not that big of a deal, just pushes a little rumble when it starts back up. I had the Borla ATAK catback and now the AWE 0fg and it doesn't bother me. If you were in stop and go city driving, just turn the auto start off.
E-Torque makes no difference in the sound compared to the regular setup. Not sure if you have the auto-start/stop function...obviously with that you'll just hear the exhaust start back up when you get going. Sometimes kind of annoying when you are in stop and go but you can turn it off.
Its towards the right side of the top of the grill before it starts to curve down around the headlight. Mine was definitely warped and CARID screwed up and sent a replacement somewhere else, to an address that wasn't even mine, and wouldn't resend a new one. I won't do business with CARID ever...
After 2 failed attempts at getting a bug deflector that fit right, I finally just went with the MOPAR matte black deflector. Got it at the dealership with a veteran discount for $95. I like it much better than the weathertech that dug into the top part of my grille a little bit and the avs...
Looks like you have the limited. Set it in offroad 2 mode. Remove the driver's side heat shield around the spare tire and the spare tire. That will give you enough room to feed the factory system out from under the truck...no ramps or lift needed. And you also have the factory system intact...
It says it on Corsa's website that the midpipe resonator delete is only required if your truck has the resonator before your muffler. If you have a '20 or 21', the corsa sport is essentially the corsa extreme.
Most companies are willing to help, some faster than others (except CARID, they suck in the customer service department). Send them an email/give them a call.
I put them on every truck I've owned. I've had bad luck with this truck though regarding fitment. Initially went with the weathertech and didn't fit right and chewed the top of my grill up a bit. I know a lot of members here have it and like it so don't go by my word alone. I purchased that...
I use my MFT more than I thought I would. I hardly ever open it in the normal, drop down mode. I will say I didn't intentionally buy my truck for it or look for it because I didn't think it would be that useful but it really is. Seems to serve a better purpose than the new tailgates on the GMCs.
