My 8.4 nav works as per the Uconnect Manual. The manual makes no reference to a scan function and a search in the Uconnect manual for the word "scan" shows 0/0.
A 2017 Honda Civic's scan function will play a station for 10 seconds.
If the button is not touched it moves to the next station...
Got the time to try it today. The screen buttons do the same as the steering wheel buttons on my 8.4 nav radio and correlates to the Uconnect Manual.
THERE IS NO SCAN. That is if "SCAN" is defined as stopping on the radio station and playing for a short period and moving on to the next...

Don't quote me but from I remember about my 2002 BMW R100RT, 1 qt in 500 miles was acceptable. The oil level read all over the place because of the oil cooler, traded it in after 2 years.
No, there is an old thread (2018/2019) on getting the owner's manual. And I was a little POd with the Uconnect manual as I believe I couldn't get a hard copy. I still have the info that came with the Ram and it is mostly useless, one dealing with arbitration and another with warranty.
Had to...
It's in the Uconnect manual, did not come with the Ram nor did the owner's manual, have read it in the past on line.
This is for the 8" Nav.

As per my post "Unless I'm missing something", so I missed something. LOL, I'm an analog guy caught up in the digital world! My goal was to help the poster, took around about way but had you do it, LOL.
Now, where in the owner's manual is this? Seriously, I can not find "scan", "Fast Seek...
Do you think the artic temperatures (cold/hot/cold, contraction/expansion contraction) had anything to do with the filter loose? If you did the oil change how tight do you make the filter? I've always done the 3/4 to 1 turn by hand once the filter makes contact, no tools.
Based on Hondas that I have there is seek and scan. The scan is nice as you hit scan, it plays on a station for 10 seconds and if you like it hit the button and if you don't it will move to the next playable station, nice. Seek on the other hand moves along the numbers without necessarily...
I had Pirellis on my 1994 Ford Explorer thanks to the "Ford/Firestone Rollover fiasco". Great tires, mpg improved and handled better. I also am very happy with my 2019 Ram but at 40,011 miles the motor went, covered under the lifetime warranty and took 4 months to get back. Felt kind of like...
Seems to be an issue based on NHTSA on 2019s.
BUT I have no idea what goes on with other brands and vehicles to be fair.
I do know it took 3 shots for Ford to get my rear main seal so it didn't leak om my 1994 Explorer.

Unless I'm missing something, that's good for "Seek". What about "Scan" as per initial post? My 2019 owner's manual has "00" for a search of the word "scan".
"Hello. I have a 2020 Ram 1500 and cannot, for the life of me, find how to scan radio stations. Seeking is easy, but is there no option...
Not sure of how you define "scan". The manual makes reference to presets.
The manual does reference SEEK with a search on the 2019 manual but does not show up "scan" or "radio scan".
From the 2019 Owner's Manual
"Radio Operation Pushing the top of the switch will SEEK up for the next...
This will give you an idea of the issues forwarded to NHTSA for a 2019. Lot of complaints for the manifold and bolt.
To be fair the other brands would need to be evaluated also.

Fram doesn't specify why you would use a wrench as Wix explains it may be in a position...
I made a mistake (I have CRS, elderly). I use the attached photo "flex head ratchet" bar on the cup style oil filter wrench. The ratchet doesn't work because it drops the handle to far down and it can not be "swung". The flex head brings it up "tight" and it can be "swung". I only use it to...
SEE POST 15 Please after reading this, my apologies.
I use an extension bar on both oil filter wrenches with the ratchet. From what I can recall from my last oil change it is a small arc with the ratchet and it may be an 8" extension bar. I believe I have also used the wrench as per #1 post...
