Did FCA diagnose the harness as being worn through and shorting? Did you see it? Who put the electrical tape on there? A cable harness and the jacketing on the wires are a heckuva lot more durable than electrical tape. This no solution for an abrasion problem...
So as long as it re-wrote the OEM tune back into a vehicle, it's then ready to use on another one? Makes sense.

Odd. Have you tried setting nav/guidance volume with the volume knob instead of the Uconnect menu?
If you turn the volume knob while nav/guidance is speaking, the system *should* change the volume knob function to nav/guidance instead of the radio.

You may have better luck posting in one of those other many, many threads. Sounds like MDS drone to me. Maybe the ANC acting up. Possibly a little hypochondria.
I love the Longhorn interior but I also love the Alcantara inserts on the Laramie seats. I guess that's another difference. I put 10 years on Mopar Alcantara seats in another vehicle and that stuff is INCREDIBLY durable and easy to maintain.
No Uconnect app needed for me.
Have you hacked your phone? Shutdown any "unecessary" services? Android needs certain Google services to be running on the phone, it also need Android Auto installed on the phone. Maybe the same is true for Apple? Try resetting the phone.
As an opposite answer, you can get steel suspension on the Laramie but not available on the Limited.
Ram needs to stop calling the Longhorn a "Laramie Longhorn" imo; easy to confuse with the regular Laramie.
