Axle shafts, hub splines, CV joints, rear diff, driveshaft, U joints, and a thousand parts in the tranny and engine. Not to mention the expensive catalytic converters that might get burned up.... and you'll need a new fuel pump and injectors to accommodate the Whipple. If worrying about those...
I think what you're experiencing is a calibration tuned for comfort and smoothness; the power is there it just doesn't feel like it. Something like the Pulsar or the canned tunes from Diablosport that restore throttle responsiveness and shift quickness will give you a more noticeable improvement...
It'd be a miss from Ram if the RF was two-way and they didn't tout that. I mean it sounds like a lot of people want it and it'd look good on a feature sheet.
You mentioned motorcycling... yup, year round activity! A few weeks of the year are too "chilly" for me, but being from New England you might be out there in short sleeves :geek:
Definitely fewer hills but plenty of twisties if you go looking for them. The riding scenery may be less, but...
St. Petersburg here. Naples seems like a good area for what you're after. Lots of money there but some are half-year snowbirds. Also money in Miami.
If coming from a high tax area, you might be astonished at how much lower your overall tax bill will be. Like LH mentioned, no income tax is a...
Yup. I think you get me. Fiat, FCA, and even Chrysler have negative connotations to some... but MOPAR makes me think of the fun stuff!
Cool museum. I'm putting that on my to-be-visited list. Thanks.
Idk if the power structure or culture is as you envision. Maybe to a degree, or in some regards, but the Mopar side of the merged FCA is where the money is made; by far. Very far. The Italian overlords are smart enough to not upset that apple cart; so much so that when Sergio passed, the new CEO...
You got it, Chris. Idk the limits of that little chip antenna but I tested it at about 25 ft through two walls and it did fine. That FXTH87 is programmable to about 10 different transmit power levels; I was using one of the lowest ones to see how weak I could go but still communicate reliably...
I guess if done smartly, it wouldn't have to take much away from the battery life. Maybe just a double or triple confirmation blink would be enough... without the need to drive the LED constantly.
I wonder if semantics is muddying the waters. Forgive me if you know this but "large" and "small" in electrical speak doesn't typically refer to absolute physical dimensions but instead refers to physical dimensions relative to a wavelength. To further confuse things, in the RF world those terms...
In my mind it's not a question of "can". It's a question of "want". There's lots that can be done but only so many mAh in a coin cell battery; how do you want to use them.
I think some interpretation is needed when reading the key fob sheet. The TPMS sheet explicitly says 433 MHz, but unless the world is upside down I can promise you the key fob long-range function also operates on 433 MHz. If FCA (or any OEM) cranked up the power of the 125 kHz signal to...
