Interesting info, thanks. In addition to what you describe, some extended warranties are setup to only come into effect after the OEM warranty expires. If you wanted 7 years of coverage and xx miles, you'd buy a 4 year plan. OEM warranty would apply for the first 3 years (or whatever it is) and...
Your pressure sounds fine to me; here's the 5.7 spec. I get into the 30's psi too in my Durango when fully warmed.
The Pennzoil Synthetics, both Platinum and Ultra Platinum, are some of the best engine oils currently on the market. See BITOG.
Knee jerk comment is modern engines are designed to run "hot"... but go ahead and burp your coolant as you may have trapped air; Hemi's can be finicky about that.
The results in that Motortrend article are not generally representative. I really don't know what to make of it but in other vehicles that offer both Pentastar and Hemi, the V6 has noticeably better fuel economy.
Why mess around with a spare? Get a quality plug kit and air pump. Fuggedaboutit. Plugging a tire is easier than changing one and your truck loses 80 lbs.
Is removing the Ram skid plates a simple task?
The fuel tank skidplate on my Durango shares the same bolts used by the fuel tank mounting straps. To remove the skidplate, you pretty much have to go through the steps of dropping the fuel tank... unless you can find a way to somehow jigger the...
I hear ya, AP. I'm a prospective buyer too and the same thoughts have crossed my mind. I'm not deterred though; here's the reason: there's likely over 500,000 2019's on the road now. 8,000 total members here. Not all have problems, but for fun let's say all 8,000 did. Let's double that and say...
I've read the discussions here too. The 3.92 fans have valid points but I think 3.21 with 34's will be fine... assuming you're ok with the tradeoffs.
My Durango has 3.09 rear gears and identical tranny ratios. OEM tires are 30.4" but many upsize to 32" and don't complain.
Btw I think...
Magnaflow use to sound awesome but something changed. It's not as crisp and doesn't have the same impact. It used to bath you in a deep aggressive rumble but doesn't seem to now.
I'm not aware of that option.
In my Durango I leave Android Auto running in the background. When I need to know distance, long-press the voice button on the steering wheel and the system directs your voice to Google: "How far to Jacksonville?". Response: "The distance from your current location...
