Lol. Hang in there, Bill. Somebody will eventually need a replacement screen and buy it.

    First All Highway Tank

I'm surprised by that last sentence; seems like the 2012 300 shoulda been able to outpace a Ram... unless it was AWD.

List of issues, do you see any of these?

When I say "hard shift", I really mean to say FIRM... where you feel it and there's a bit of a lurch. If the honest description is a "slamming heavy hammer" that sounds like something is out of range.

    Cluster upgrade

PM NYinstaller. He used to do cluster swaps on the LX and LY cars in his shop (Chargers, 300's, and Challengers). He's moved on to a different job, so not sure if he'll do the same for Rams... but if enough people asked...

    Weight Distribution Hitches

Surely a good idea for anything of substantial weight, especially if it catches a lot of wind. I wonder how well the built-in sway-control function works.

    ETorque Issue

I hear ya, ED. I couldn't argue against those points if I wanted to. I've been around a manufacturing floor or two myself and I get it. I guess things are bound to slip through the cracks especially at the rate Rams are being built, and especially after transitioning to a re-purposed factory...

    Making a U-Turn

That might be it, but I'm not sure. The FCA specsheet for 2019's calls the two bed options SB and LB and we know the 8 footer is not yet available.

etorque does more than help with starts and smooth out shifts ....

Gotcha SV.... interesting perspective. Just to clarify, the "smoke and mirrors" comment was directed at putting hp/tq ratings on a system where they don't belong imo; it was not directed at eTorque itself. I'm virtually certain I'm going to give eTorque a shot and order a truck with it.

    ETorque Issue

Exactly, JXL. How hard can it possibly be to make sure a couple of ground bolts are torqued? Silly stuff like this and the post about missing seat bolts is making me think union shenanigans is at play. What else could it be? I've been around Mopar forums for a long time and have never seen the...

    Electric Power Washers

I bought the same one a few weeks ago. I love it. I've had mine a few weeks. Probably put about 20 hours on it so far. Nice little unit.

List of issues, do you see any of these?

Regarding the #4 hard shifting, I hear you guys; it should be a smooth luxury-feeling shift. However.... i) A hard shift is not necessarily bad for the tranny; some say it's better than a soft shift because less clutch-pack slippage and therefore less internal wear. I know, it should be soft...

etorque does more than help with starts and smooth out shifts ....

I believe FCA's numbers are after the internal gear multiplication that Ric mentions above. Chevy says tq is at the crank but not clear on how/where hp is measured. However, I tend to think putting hp/tq labels on these systems is just another layer of smoke-n-mirrors; just a new set of numbers...

I get ya :geek: I was just bumping your post and lending some activity so that it doesn't fall to the bottom and nobody sees it. Surely someone here knows how to do this.

    Pulsar and Tazer

Joe at Zautomotive is a good guy; you should have no issues with him. He was a forum enthusiast about a decade ago who wanted to disable ESP, but couldn't, so he did it himself... and then branched out to re-program a lot of other stuff. He's one of "us". New platforms can pose challenges. It's...

    A-Pillar Removal

I've done it... but on a different Mopar vehicle. If it's the same, the removal method is "pull and slide", but you gotta know where to pull and which direction to slide...
