RichT You we're actually correct in both instances, bilstien and spacer. The lift from the ORP is from a longer spring in the front not the spring perch being moved up an inch. Just read the 4x4 ORP thread where it is laid out with part numbers on page 4.
So if you are removing the Factory part that gives you a 1" lift with the ORP and replace it with the Bilstien which will give you up to 2.75" how do you get 3" lift ?
That would be great if the 18 Bilstein's work on our 19's I have been waiting for them to come out so I can level my Truck.
I know in the past all of my stock exhaust has been steel and rusted which is why I would put a catback on, but I thought I read somewhere that the exhaust on our 1500's was Stainless from the factory can any one advise. If it is then I am just going to do a muffler and have a shop cut out the...
So I am not the only one who has thought of remounting the tires black lettering out on a Black packaged 1500, thought it was my OCD getting the better of me. Not sure why they did not do that from the factory.
Having had a Bull bar on a previous vehicle I would never put one on again. Slid into the vehicle at a stop light at maybe 5 mph and the bar folding back into the grill did way more damage than if it wasn't there. The vehicle I struck had no damage at all. Just food for thought.
So my Truck has everything you listed but the 3.92 gears and I am so glad I did get the led and level 2 package the heated seats and steering wheel on 11 degree days were so nice. For me they are definitely worth the money.
As for why not just getting the Laramie it was several grand more...
So I actually got it about a week later, I am super happy with it. I don't have the slush mats and looking at it it is cut to match the standard rug mats. Aesthetically I am not sure how it would look it they designed it around the Rubber ones when you would use it with the carpeted ones.
So i figured out it add all my attempts as 0 miles and putting them at the bottom of the maintenance record log. I have tried to edit the mileage but it continues to show 0. God I miss being able to just write in the paper maintenance log and throw it back into the glove box.
So I logged...
For the lawn tractor as long as you can find, if ramp angle is to steep you will drag the deck when one set of tires is on the truck and the others are still on the ramps. Ramps that are arched will also help with that but they usually don't fold.
Lucas fuel treatment with upper cylinder lubricant in every tank. I buy the gallon and just refill the little bottle. I can also go an entire month without having to fill up so I want the extra protection from the gas sitting that long. I also use it in my 68 big block Elcamino with 72,000...
I did leave the tailgate on and had no other support straps. My only suggestion is get longer ramps to try and decrease the ramp angle. I have to back my quad in and the folding ramps from Harbor Freight made it a little nerve racking the first time doing it just because of the angle.
They are the fuel lines it happened to me when I was driving the truck through a field to bring corm up to a feeder. A co-worker had it happen to him also, he believes when he hit a large puddle on the Highway. The clips holding it shut suck .
So I just got a call about the husky storage unit I ordered. I was told there was a delay in shipment because the original ones were to tall and the seat would not sit flat and that they just finished a run of the new shorter ones. Has anyone experienced that problem?
So i just purchased it on e bay made an offer of 155.00 and they took it.

So I was just about to ask the same question when I saw your post, my question to you is it only when you use your remote key fob to start your vehicle because I have tracked my issue down to only occuring when I remote start the truck.
My brother has the HD on his Chevy 2500 and loves it. He has had no issues with it and is opening and closing it all day long to get tools out of the truck. He also puts a quad on the back of it a couple a times a year. He had them customize the headache rack for him. If you live in the PA...
Thanks for the replys, no ORP, the only thing I am waiting on now is to see once SEMA is over if any one comes out with a shock assembly that is a reasonable price.
